Jon & Kate plus Eight: Who's Really Thinking Of Their Eight Kids Best Interest?

I think its outrageous for Jon to cut off the income that supports his kids. I never hear or see him going to the grocery store to buy food or milk, but I do see him always at the clubs and just tonite buying drinks at the store with his girlfriend on the night before his kids birthday party. I know this is tv but this man tells airs all his personal business. He even stopped the TV show from going forward. I hope Kate finds the best divorce lawyer and take Jon for all he isn't without Kate. Jon needs to stop talking to whoever he's talking to and start taking his problems to the man above and seek some consulting since its obvious he can't handle that lifestyle. I'm sorry, but as a single mother it just make me mad to see him act that way.

i haven't been following the story that closely, because in all honesty, I'm just not that interested in it!!! However, the question you asked has nothing to do with tabloids, gossip, or any of the other reasons why I'm not interested in their story. You have asked a question that applies to the human race, in general, i think. Those children are innocent, yet they are in the middle of the biggest mess imaginable!!! I feel bad for those kids, and wish all this madness would just end, for their sake.

I have only watched if nothing else is on. But you have to wonder.. do these people really do the Invetro etc cause they want kids.. or cause they need the tax deduction? I mean.. here in CA dependent deduction per child is $3600. I think that is what my daughter said it was. But whatever it is.. (it was $2400 when my 2 were kids) so minimum $2400 times 8 .....10..... 12...18 kids? What a look haul! That is what makes me mad.. they are not paying any income taxes which means they are not helping hte state they live in which means they aren't helping with things like the infastructure of the state and they are using the states resources for free while the rest of us pay for them.... makes me really mad.

I have never ever watched their show before, but I hear so much about the after-math on the news and tv tabloids. I agree with you about the kids and I hope both parents aren't involving the kids in with their mess about who did what, when and where, but I think they already have.

It seems like most peoples sympathies are with Kate. I don't know what the real story is but I wish they would just shut up about all of it and stop dragging all of America through this mess. The real victims of course are the children. Why the hell would you have eight kids when your marriage is shaky to begin with. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

I think it so sad....that America can't find anything else better to do than to be this caught up in other people's lives. This kind of thing happens all the time. While there is no excuse for the actions of Kate's husband it is still their business. You have to question an individual who finds entertainment in a family being torn apart this way. I pray that those kids aren't to damaged by all of this. God bless this family.

I don't know any more than what they show on the TV with the media blitz.. so without knowing the whole truth and the real facts... other than what has been mentioned on tv and we don't know how much of that is true or not.. only the 2 of them know.. but ....
I don't think any of these reality "big family" shows have the kids in mind. It is all about how the parents deal with them and nothing abouthow the kids are dealing with life. That 18 and counting show...never have I seen the parents do a lick of work - it is always the kids doing it. Never have I seen the mother take charge of the kids... it is always the kids taking charge of themselves and their younger siblings. I have not seen anything with the Gosslin kids saying much of anything about how life is in a big family. But I will say. that J&K+8 is more real to life than the Duggers... I'm sorry but no matter how well the family is... there are going to be arguments and dissagreements and complaints... that is called "living life with more than one person around"... and the Duggars never show anything like that and I don't beleive for a second that they never argure, fight, bickers... kids do that kind of thing. THey wouldn't be kids if they didn't. But J&K+8 at least show the kids being kids and crying, not getting along and complaining.

Actually, I'm sick of hearing about Jon & Kate's problems!!! I've NEVER watched the show as I think they are exploiting the children. So, to answer your question...from what I've seen on the Today Show, it appears that the ONLY way he can get a reaction out of Kate is to mess with the kids. I don't feel EITHER of them has worried what the show might do to the kids. I think he is lying when he says he thinks it is hurting the kids to continue. If he hadn't been dropped from the show, he would have NEVER said a word about the kids being harmed.
I find Kate to be a Bbiittcchh & I don't blame him for leaving her. Is he worried about his children??? OH HELL NOOOOOO!!! What he has done is immoral & reprehensible. I find him to be just as BIG a low life as she is a Bbiittcchh!!! Personally, I think the children should be taken away from BOTH of them before they are harmed beyond repair!!!

I know this divorce was going to get ugly and it has! Jon is trying to revenge Kate for all the stuff he let her to do to him! He could care less about his kids! Right now all he cares about is his girlfriend,makeing Kate miserable and making his kids miserable! I think somewhere along the way Jon took some bad advice which he thinks is good advice! He is being really stupid and needs to go up! Ever since Jon and Kate split he has acted like a teenager! One of these days he'll crash and burn then realize what an idiot he has been! Until then the kids,like in many divorces,are stuck in the middle! I can't wait to see 8 different books written by Jon and Kate's kids in the furture explaining how their parents divorce screwed them up! In feel sorry for these kids!

I have not watched one episode of this show.From news shows I beleive from TLC to the parents none of them have the children's best interest as far as I'm concerned.
If it wasn't for the show they wouldn't be getting a divorce. I think Kate was not home enough traveling here and there with her book and whatever else. Leaving Jon home alone with 8 kids. I think that was the beginning of the end for them. My heart goes to the kids I feel so bad for them.

I think between Jon and Kate, she thinks more of the kids than he does. I think it so wrong for him to have stopped the show. What in the world was he thining when he did that? I don't think he has his kid's welfare in mind at all. What he did to Kate in teh first place was totally uncalled for. He stepped out on her and I think he expected her to be cool with it, but how could she be? I thought that they were a good couple, but it sure has changed. I am sorry to see this all happen. I hope he gets what is coming to him. Take care, and happy mylotting.
