Why did the media 'miss' this one.....

In the magazine called "The Week"...for the week of Sept. 25th, I came across a blip about a murder. Not just any murder...but the murder of a pro life demonstrator. I recalled the BIG media blitz about the killing of an abortionist in church, such a blitz that even the president when on about it....more than he did about the killing of a Armed Forces recruiter by an illegal Arab in our country, around the same time.
Anyway....
Here is some of the small, tiny article on the murder of Jim Pouillon.
Owaosso, Mich.
Pro lifer killed. And outspoken anti abortion activist was shot to death last week, and his acused killer said he acted out of anger at the victim's confrontational approach. Jim Pouillon, 63, was frequently seen at demonstrations displaying graphic photographs of aborted fetuses. He was shot several times from a moving vehicle while protesting across the street from Owosso High School.
The article goes on to say...
Harlan Drake, 33, who reportedly confessed to killing Pouillon as well as Mike Fuoss, 61, a local businessman who was found dead an hour after Pouillon was slain. Drake, who attempted suicide after being arraigned on murder and gun charges, reportedly told police he planned to kill a third person against whom he held a grudge.
Now my point is this....we hear days worth of reporting on the 'crazy' man who killed the abortionist doctor...but this gets a tiny little piece in The Week? Anyone hear about this on the networks...or from the PRESIDENT?

I did hear some about this, but one thing remains certain, our media is obviously biased--but maybe "obviously" isn't the right word because the majority of the sheeple seem well-plugged into the matrix...

uh huh. You're missing out a bunch by being afraid of this mere movie--you're missing out on seriously applicable symbolism.

The Matrix...I can't watch that movie. Gives me the creeps for some reason. The first time I did see it, I had nightmares.

Nope, and you won't hear about it either.
The reason for that is because Pouillon opposed the murder of the unborn children whereas the left revels in it.
They scream and rage when an abortionist is murdered, yet say nothing when someone who stand for life is murdered. This is just another example of the hypocrasy of the left.

I am only hoping that by reading this some may see the hypocricy and start thinking. (for themselves)

Debi I know you have answered this yourself, hence the "miss" in inverted commas.
We know that newspapers are not really in the business of giving us the news. There is no need for me to list why they are in business, or why headlines seldom relate to the events.
I am not surprised that this story didn't get coverage. Thanks for bringing it to light.

You should know the media by now..lol...most of them are without concience nor do they have a particular passion about anything, not to mention that they have to remain mutual and impartial about everything they print. In truth, society relies on the media for all the news, and forgets how one sided they are...and then unfortunately judge from their view.
I haven't read anything about this story, but then again, I don't even get the newspapers or listen to the news on TV. I don't trust anything they say, and when they do report on a crime, they never follow up with it with the truth. This may make me clueless with society or not tuned in with the actions of the world, but at least I can concentrate on the positive instead of the negative...and live life happier than angrier.

I understand sweetchariot. And I agree with you that they have no conscience. I disagree that they have no particular passion about anything. The owners of the major news networks have an agenda that mirrors what the agenda of our politicians are....to change the way we think about things and make us more compliant.
As for being happier and more positive...or being able to concentrate on those things which make me that way....I am not happy when I am lied to or when someone is attempting to pull the wool over my eyes, this is true. But I am sure that happiness is not acheived with my head in the sand either. In fact, I am happiest when I have the truth. Even if it means I have to search for it.
I do understand that some would feel differently. You see, if you know the truth, no one can lie to you and get away with it. And I value very much my soul and my mind...and do not take lightly falsehoods being fed to me. I am happiest when I have liberty of thought...and free will to choose those thoughts.
