I was surprised that no one had yet to add Mat Devine under the People I Admire heading. He's so sweet and intelligent and talented that it's hard not to admire him. Sometimes a person's name just fits 
So... If you've met Mat, either at a show or if you know him from outside the music world, share your Mat Devine stories.

I have had Mat as one of the People I Admire for years on here.
Let's see, a Mat story. Well, the first time I met him after a show in Detroit, he was really nice. I am shy and my sister was being a bit shy too and he tried sooo hard to have an actual conversation with us and not just take a picture/sign something and be done with us. It was so nice. He started talking about Willie Nelson, cause my sister had on a Willie Nelson tshirt. It was just kind of funny and he was just so nice and made it easy to chat with him. Personally, I LOVE his blog. It's always so funny. I used to run a KH message board and the girls on it and I would spend so much time discussing the hilarity of his latest journal posts.

Really? It must have gotten buried since then :( I searched pages and pages and pages before giving up and making my own. But now that I know there's another one I'll add it too!
He is really easy to talk to and super sweet :) I just sent him a stuffed raccoon I'd dressed up to look like him (complete with pierced nose!)for Christmas and he commented on my Facebook that he loves it.
