the right hours for many is at least 8 hours or more.but the recent studies show that a maximum of 4 hours is enough for the brain to rest and for the neuron to rest too.we many naps in a day too makes brain more active since nap is really good.i usually sleep 6 or 7 hours a day.have a nice day.![](/Content/images/emotes/happy.gif)

Life is busy, busy I do not have time to themselves. Work is very busy, busy week, I have only one day to rest. Before today, I do not understand why a lot of people like to sleep, today, I understand. Complete relaxation, so that physical contact with the soft quilt, feeling really great!
People, always busy and really for what?
I love sleeping, relaxing sleep, threw himself to sleep.

i suggest you study your exams beforehand like a week before it starts. You get better retention of what your studying if your brain is not stressed. Cramming will not help even though it gives such adrenaline to remember everything the last minute but why go through all that if you have so much time in your hands before the major exams comes. we You should reviews of the quizzes you had during that quarter and try to work on with the mistakes you did during those quizzes. Read the books that your using for that semester. You need a 6-8 hours of sleep so that your body can function properly and effectively. Please don't abuse it because you were only given one life so take care of it.

Hi,shoo,For normal healthy person need 8 hours slee is recommended by doctors. But as you are student and have prepare hard for exams, you have some relaxation in sleeping hours.
Ny suggestion is study with plan-reading day and night is not the solution for pass exams and wise man plan the time to wards study ans sleep properly. How much time you studied is not important, how efficiently you grasp the subject.Have anice time and all the best.![](/Content/images/emotes/thumbup.gif)

you really just have to find a balance of all the things going on in your life. You should really get around 8 hours of sleep to ensure that your body has all of the energy you need to complete your daily activities. Say you come home from school, study for a few hours then afterwards enjoy yourself until you go to sleep. Say you go to bed at an early 10:00 pm and wake up at 6:00. Thats 8 hours and leaves you some time to review your notes from the previous lessons.

Hi,my friend:
As a chinese, i can understand you totally.i have the same problem when i was in high school.A lot of paperwork and too much pressure let students give up their sleep time. But in the long run you will find you cann't keep your mind occupied in the class and do your homework not so efficiently.
And as people always saying-"health is pre-condition of all work",i don't suggest you gotta stay up late. you should assure yourself of 8 hours everyday and do some sports.then you can have more energy to focus on your studies.

hmm i don't think sleeping is bad for health. there is no such thing as sleeping too much. when you've had enough sleep your body will refuse to continue sleeping. it's only when you wake up feeling tired and less refreshed than before sleeping is something wrong. nothing should interfere with our sleep because that is when the body repairs itself. do you know that a person will die if he/she does not get any sleep for ten consecutive days? the brain will shut down and the person basically goes into a vegetative state. so studying is important, but getting enough rest is more important.
study smart and hard is the key. pay attention in class and clarify any doubts immediately. that is the smart way of studying because understanding is much more important than remembering.![](/Content/images/emotes/wink.gif)

A person should sleep for at least 8 hrs a day. That's for our own good health. Besides, lack of sleep won't make one grow tall.

we should sleep for 8 hours per night but because of the many disruptions like studying, work can lessen our sleep so the best way is to compensate the sleep the next night or day just find time to rest.

The average for an adult is about 7-8hrs to function well but as a teenager you will need bit more as you still growing. anything between 8.5 hours up to 10 hours normal for a teenager. which means you should go to the bed at around 9.30. this is particularly important if you want to perform well in sport as well!
