Eating with your mouth open!

The one thing that drives me to levels of anger that nothing else can is witness people eating with their mouths open, smacking food around and/or making that horrific sucking and smacking noise with their mouth.
I think it's uncivilized, primative and common. It is also unbearably anti social and, whether it's fair or not, I can only wish bad things on the people that do it around me.
This is only my possition on things, what do you think about this?

Hello
I absolutely agree with your idea. It is very unethical to eat with your mouth wide open and worse if you're eating like a pig. Our parents should have taught us with simple table manners.
Happy MyLotting!

It's true, I was always taught good manners and I think even if my parents never told me to eat with my mouth closed I would do it anyway. It's just so horrible!

This is one of the bad habits I hate most. I keep myself away from people doing this. My husband told me yesterday that one of his colleagues Dough has this habit. He also makes loud noises when he eats corn and other stuff. It is disgusting. So, he said that he and other professors in the department are trying to avoid him even though he is a nice person.

I work with a lot of contractors at my place of work, a lot of people that are only around for a month or even just a couple of weeks. Some times their eating habbits are horrible. It makes it hard to say anything though as offending them could create a bad working relationship so it's always difficult. It still makes me angry on the inside though.
Some people however may be open to comments and apologise, although it's always hard to tell.
Enjoy your day and thanks for commenting
