Some people have the habit of plucking flowers when they see them on the road or park, keep it for some time and then throw away. If the flower was left in the plant itself, it would have spread it's beauty and fragrance for some more time and many would have seen and enjoyed the natural beauty. I never pluck flowers unless for some purpose, to keep it for God. What about you, do you like to pluck flowers or want to see them on plant?

Hi,Buchimthere are 3 points in it.Keeping flowers with plant gives us frangrance in air, beauty in nature-it is must mainly in public gardens,Garden in front of our house etc.Second point is in some countries [i hails from India] Devotees keep flowers in front of God whom they trust.Next day morning they throw away into dust bin.Third point is Girls who keep flowers in their hair looks nice and they get attracted...Analyse yourself these 3 points.Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Hai Shri Baluyadav, Your three points are noted. I too mentioned that the flowers are plucked for some purpose sometimes. I was mentioning about the persons, who pluck the flowers just for fun of it, and throw away immediately. Is it not a waste and of no use to any one, no purpose served? Your responses are always good Sir. Interesting.

Then we should plant flowering plants on our garden, instead of plucking them out.

God's feet is the best place for a flower to reach. Your wife is doing that. Flowers will thank you and your wife Yugasini. Does your wife offer Ashtothara satha namavali of Goddess Laxmi?

We can look at the flower, admire it's beauty and that does not spoil the environment.

I am not in the habit of picking flowers. I'm an avid gardener. I love having flowers around me so much that I gave up a part of my garden to plant more flowers. I buy flowers as well to put in my kitchen window. I must have flowers around the house. They help me relax and fill the room with their scent.

When I see a flower I just think about it. When I get a hold of a flower than I do start plucking it. Sometimes I eat it. Haha. Well than if I am really bored that's when I start to pluck it. If I see a flower I just look at it.

There are several flower petals that can be added to salad. The most-used of these is the nasturtium which has a lot of flavour.

Hi Buchi, I couldn't tolerate to see people pluck flowers at the park. It's always a terrible habit to pursue their personal desire plucking the flower and holding it for a just a short while. They never realize that the flower will fade very fast after leaving the branch. Here in our place one is prohibited to pluck flowers available in the park or other recreation areas.
When come across any unique and fascinating flowers I would like to have a close approach and enjoy watching them. I love to see flowers dancing happily in the breeze. I don't seize of the natural flowers by plucking them! I prefer to capture their lovely images then and keep them for ever. So that I could enjoy watching them at anytime I wish later on! That's why I always carry around my digital camera wherever I go
Have a nice day and happy posting!

Very true Ikbooi Madam, if we want to see the beauty for ever, let us capture the image in our camera. Why to pluck them and destroy immediately? It hurts me to see them do that but what can I say? Have a nice day. I know you are a flower lover. Your avatar itself is lovely violet flower.

Cutting flowers and bringing them indoors is worth the pleasure of what little is loss in removing them from their plants. There are many ways to continue to enjoy flowers for several days once they been cut.

If use is there, it is ok. But people simply pluck and throw immediately. That bothers me.

No, I can't say I do that now. I would when I was a kid and would give the flower to loved ones as a gift. I prefer to admire nature rather than meddle with it. I also tend to stay away from flowers during hotter temperatures because the bees come out in full force and I am happy to say that I have never been stung.

I love to see flowers bloom on plants rather than to pluck them unless it is completely necessary. The sight of nature can never be suppressed by any other man made sight. Love nature people and enjoy life.

I won't like to pluck flowers when they see them on the road or park although the flowers looks so beautiful.
According to the law, it is illegal to pluck flowers on the road. It may get the environment destroyed if you allowed to do that. Sometimes, the flowers may become dying once you change the suroundings of it.
So, the flowsers are more beautiful than them on plant.

I always have liked to see the flowers.I do no pluck them .I have spent much time just gazing at them, seeing how they dance when the wind blows. When I say flowers ,
I refer not only to the roses and orchids but to all flowers including wild flowers.
Of course some may pluck flowers to offer to theG0ds.Sometimes girls put them on
their hair. Why, sometimes someone may pluck a rose and give it to his lover. That is okay. But I just enjoy watching and admiring them.

Plucking for usage is ok. But plucking for fun's sake and throwing it out immediately
is waste. Instead it could have remained in the plant itself spreading beauty and fragrance.

When I was a little girl I once saw a cluster of roses peeping outside the compound wall of the owners. Little as I was I just could not resist plucking them but now I own a big garden and if anyone as much as take a leaf I see 'red'! You are right in saying that ruthlessly plucking flowers and then throwing them away is indeed a cruel thing to do

yeah, I don't like plucking flowers either. But when I was a child, I might occasionally did it out of curiosity. But if one grows up to be an adult, it's better leave flowers stay where they are.(I mean in public parks )
But if someone grows flowers in his own garden, it's understandable that he pluck and put them in his vase. I don't have a garden of my own, if so, I still prefer to admire them from distance.

Very true. If we have garden at home, we may pluck for keeping it for God, to keep it in lady's hair, to put it in vase. But I will as far as possible, try not to pluck it.

In my case I do not pluck flower and that's what I've told my daughter not to pick flower if your purpose is only throwing it. I do love flowers and I do enjoyed looking at them. I don't know but everytime I saw them it can ease some negative feeling.

no, unless they are from my own yard. i do not pick flowers planted in the road or park. it is beautiful to see them there and i want others to appreciate its beauty too, not just myself. when from my own yard, i sometimes pick flowers that i place in my flower vase in the office. i like others to see it there.

No. flowers are great when they are blooming at their own habitat. I wouldn't try to destroy it. Maybe some people just can't control themselves and that they really need to feel it for themselves. It's very tempting to pluck beautiful bloomiong flowers but seeing them on their own places are much beautiful.

Usually I never pluck flower. In fact I feel like talking to them as I feel, the flower is looking at you and smiling to say hai. I too say hai in my mind, if no one is there loudly also. If any purpose is there like keeping it to God, then I will pluck. But it is a rare action.
