I don't think it's my last discussion started today. Generally I stay away from starting more than one at once, looking at the sorry state they get into. But today
So, I was answering a 2-month old post siting that it has not been resolved, maybe never will. And I did funny things in doing this. First I started answering the question, got stuck in middle as I was not sure about my answer, and then went ahead and posted it.. I wanted so much to answer that!
Again, I asked the person to keep in touch while I get more related answer. Do they really care, or they in touch even now? All the posts were one month older. Funny me!

Hi hora, they will get into a sorry state indeed if you don't respond to them, you've left my good friend akule sitting there over a week already. You can respond to anything no matter how old it is but if you respond to my old pizza one you will be categorically ignored.
Old ones can sit there with sadly few responses when one didn't have many friends, and if someone responds it brings them back to life for your new friends to see.
One of my friends was me last weekend with some not too old, but over a month, trouble is she forgot she'd already answered them the first time round

That's funny! Once I too did that, and wouldn't have even noticed if the OP had not complained to me!
Had been quite busy yesterday, so hope you don't mind my being late again :)

Hi hora,
I did not started a discussions started from middle of August this year. So, its been 2 and a half months. I really do not like to started a discussion just for the sack of started it. I only started it if I need some help or if it is regarding a football (soccer) event or match. I prefer to respond to others discussion. I can give my opinion or solution better that way.
I had answer a 2 years old discussion before and they discussion started does not pick hie/her best response yet. And I did received best response from a 3 months old discussion. So, it doesn't really matter how old the discussion is, just give your response if you can give it. Best response is just a bonus but we still earn from our response.

I think matches are approaching again...
Though I would like to answer old discussions, it feels better if we get reply. Let's see what way I take...

Active and responsive members... those are the ones who keep the place alive
And I think I'm getting all surrounded by them, so maybe no time for discussions from the people who left...

It is no problem to get a comment from an active and responsive members. Usually they will come back to their discussion if there is a new response to their discussion (if they ON their notify).
But if they didn't active then we can not expecting one. There are a lot of user here did not active anymore.

I think if anyone was to keep in touch even now is a very good thing and it is a sign that they still care. Ive had issues were I wasnt able to answer something and then the discussion was lost and I wasnt able to answer it. :(
Go figure!.. Ill start a discussion today. I hope I get good responses for this is a serious issue. Take care hora.
Happy mylotting

Strangely I didn't notice that this discussion has remained isolated... Sorry for late response!
Losing discussions' track before you can answer them is quite frustrating, for me at least. Specially when I had planned so much to write...
Thanks for the response!
