There are calendars available to buy for the year 2010 now in the shops in my home country. There are month views and day views. I usually get both types to have in my house. There are so many different topics for calendars and I bought a day view calendar showing islands yesterday. Later on I shall buy month view calendar. How about you? Will you buy a month view calendar or a day view calendar? Which topic will you like? islands, cats, dogs, horses, shoes, cars, a movie star, a pop star, a football team or another topic?

Hi maximax. I like the month view calendars myself. I usually get one that has an animal theme, such as puppies and kittens. I can never choose one over the other. LOL I might go for something a little different for this coming year. I'll have to wait and see what tickles my fancy. Happy mylotting!

Last year I bought a 12 month wall calendar which featured a picture of a chihuahua every month. My Sherlock is 3/4 Chihuahua and 1/4 Corgi, and I previously had a Chihuahua several years ago, so they are near and dear to my heart. Although I pretty much love all dogs. I also have a small day by day calendar on my computer desk. It features a couple of facts from Ripley's Believe it or Not each day. I'm not sure which kind I will get for 2010.

I never bought calendars as I always received them as gifts from someone. I get them from my Insurance Agent, from shops which I visit regularly, from the company where I work and even from others like friends. I generally receive months view and yearly view. The month view calendar has different types of pictures. I remember a few like, baby pictures, monuments, nature or landscape, fireworks, or Hindu Gods etc. I love the pictures.

Before having a mobile phone, the first thing I would see with a new calendar is the day of my birthday. hi hi the rest all was secondary...And the second thing I used to check was the number of holidays hi hi. I prefer to have exotic photos of nature on the calender, also I prefer month wise calender and that too table top ones.

I prefer using a monthly view calendar with a scenery design. I don't think I would be needing a day view calendar as I already have my Microsoft Outlook calendar which let's me track down my daily appointments. =)

I prefer the month view calender... because if it is the day view... i would always forget to turn the page everyday... but with a month view... that is not a problem... i also like those with religious themes... like the 2009 calendar i bought had images of the different Madonna... very classic and nice to look at...

I prefer to have the month view calendar because I don't have to remove the calendar everyday. I just need to update it every month. It saves paper and it is good for the environment. I like the simple calendar. Here we can just have the calendar with "luck" in Chinese character. I love China

We always have a monthly calendar in the kitchen where we put family appointments, etc., and I have a nice desk diary in my office. The kitchen calendar some years has lighthouses and sometimes has city scenes. The desk diary is a Country Style one, which has lovely photographs of country home interiors and gardens. There is also a diary near the telephone which has pictures of the Greek Isles in it. I love buying my new calendar and diary every year - it's like having a fresh start!

I already bought my calender for the year 2010. It is a day view calender and it is full of beautiful pictures. All of the pictures are handdrawn and there is a new picture on each page. I found this calender in the shop, and I just loved it. It was quite expensive, but I bought it straight away. I am an artist myself, and I felt very attracted to the beautiful drawings, it is nice to have something beautiful to look at every day Sometimes I also buy month view calenders, but I haven't bought one yet. I would like to find one with rabbit pictures or one with art (surrealism?)

I don't buy calendars as there are lots of them available for free when I pay my bills in december, or in church, stores and even in my office where organizers and big and small calendars are given. I'm just giving those that I don't need because normally use 1 for my house, 1 for office and the handy organizer for myself which is always in my bag.

Dear maximax8, A wonderful topic to greet the new year 2010 In Malaysia, we can get free wall calendar, table calendar, diaries and planner for free. Many banks, corporate companies, shopping mall will have promotion and gave it to their customers! I like the wall calendar that shows 3 months at the same page. This way, it is easy for me to plan at one look. My mum like the daily view as it is larger number on date and months. Great for elderly people. She also like those with Chinese lunar calendar attached together, it allowes her to know which date is the various Chinese festivals. I would prefer picture with scenery or motivational quotes on it! My husband would prefer beautiful actress potrait..LOL

HI Maximax, Your topic reminds me that year end is coming forward and new year 2010 is coming soon. I am looking forward for my holiday trip too in December. Till now, I am yet to receive any free calender for year 2010. My insurance agent do sent me a calender every year, but with new agent now, I am not sure will I be getting it for the next coming year. I prefer to have at least one table calender for my study desk and also one calender to hang on the wall(prefer month view calender). As for the picture on the calender , I like those with some cute babies or nice scene pictures. At least, when I look at the calender everyday, the picture is nice and it helps to brighten up my days.
