Hello! Roman Catholic ranked number one with more than one billion followers world wide, it is sometimes called a universal religion because of its many followers. Second are the rest of the other Christian religions combined, they are followed closely with non-Christians like Muslims and Jews.

What do you mean? Do you mean that Roman Catholicism is a religion, and it does not come under Christianity? If Roman Catholicism is not part of Christianity then what is it? I thought Roman Catholics are also Christian. But if you don't want to call yourself Christian, then I am okay with you calling yourself as non-Christian. But I wonder if that's the view of other Roman Catholics. Cheers!

Hi 1anurag1, This is the six largest religions by population. Christianity: 2.1 billion Islam: 1.5 billion Secular/Nonreligious/Agnostic/Atheist: 1.1 billion Hinduism: 900 million Chinese traditional religion: 394 million Buddhism: 376 million Of course there are a lot more religions than these that I have listed but they are the largest. The third is not a religion but shows the number of people with no religion. Blessings.

There's no rank. My religion is the best & true. This is the same mentality for all of us. So it's better not to rank & hurt people's sentiments. Happy Lotting
