Do listen to music while driving? If so what type of music do you play?Which is the most recent one?Does listening to music distract you?I listen to music while driving.
But I don't put on music when I am negotiating heavy traffic.I take care not to become too lost in the music .How about you?

hello there riverblue, for me, listening to music while driving is a big no no to me :| it might cause to any accidents. there is a time to listen to music than concentrating on driving. they should'nt do the same thing at the same time :)

hi riverblue,
well it depends if i would listen to music or not..if i am alone then i would listent to music.. If i am with someone special then i would rather talk to him and also it depends on my mood what kind of music i listen to. I usually put up Fm channel , now New delhi has about 10 FM channels so there is always music on all the channels. I dont put it on high volume so it doesnt distract me and if i dont put on music in heavy traffic then well i can not listen to music in car because there is no place in delhi where traffic is less.

yes, it depends too on ur mood. if i don't feel like doing it, the car stereo remains untouched. whenever i do it, it would be very soft so i can concentrate driving.

hello asweetie, you are so right,There are so many factors.I don't listen to any music with the speakers blaring.I always turn down the volume irrespective of what I am listening to.All said and done, our moods play a part. But remember if your moods are not too intense,a little music will soothe you.

There are times when I love to listen to music when I am driving. There are also times that I just drive without music. It all depends on my mood. When I am driving alone, I usually listen to music most especially when its a long travel. But when I am with someone, I rarely turn on the stereo since I love to talk with my passenger.

Thank you, jpso 138 for your response.I agree with you.But sometimes when the passenger also likes to listen ,we do put on music. When we talk ,it is okay as the volume is low.

I do miss the radio a lot.

i love listening to music when driving. I find that music keeps me entertained and helps in driving rather than acting as a distraction. Infact if i am driving alone and dont have some good music to listen i would feel sleepy and might end up on a bad note.

i also like listening to music while driving which makes things little cooler.. but i don ot mind listening to music while negotiating heavy traffic.. it does not distract me in any way.. but i think you better do not put on music in such situation.. if music distracts you.. and my favourite while i m driving is classical.. of course..

I definitely listen to music when I'm driving. For some reason, there are times when I can't stand a quiet car. It gets way to "noisy," if that makes any sense. I listen to country music for the most part, although I do listen to other kinds of music, although the other music is on my GPS or cd player.

I always listen to music while driving unless I am having a conversation with a passenger in my car. I usually listen to a hip-hop or pop radio station. Listening to music helps me concentrate on driving and boosts my mood otherwise I might have some pretty bad road rage ;)

when i was still driving, it really depends on my mood. now, that it is my oldest son who is driving for us, he usually switches to music, sometimes i get distracted because these are the ones that the younger ones love to listen ... not-so-soft ones, the modern ones. i usually turn down the volume when he is driving to avoid distraction. also, with the loud music, we cannot hear each other while talking.

Good point. We put on music to put us in good mood while we are driving. But if hinders safe driving,or it irritates any one it is better to turn it off.Thank you for your input.

While driving listening music is for everyone its a nice but in heavy traffic on roads we cannot listen music,if some one listen police will charge a fine for us some tines in heavytraffic.Music is the happiest moment whereever we can listen in a car or while driving.

Driving while listening is a must for me especially when I am travelling alone. It serves as my caffeine that keeps me awake. During long drives, I play loud music. But yes, during traffic hours, playing music that's too loud is not necessary since it may distract you from driving.
