The bathroom

Why is it that I have a really (REALLY) hard time using the public bathroom. Now if its an emergency, I have to go...but like at work, in the mall or restaurant. I just will hold it until I get home or cut my even short to go home. Each time I use the bathroom outside my home, my mouth wells up with saliva when I hear someone else tinkling, it that normal?
