Discussions, Questions, and topics to avoid

Alright, as a Newbie I am already getting frustrated with the repeat topics.. So I thought I would start a discussion on Topics and Questions to avoid. This way the newbies could review this list, and learn which questions to not ask, as they have already been asked over 100's of times and people are all losing points and marks on them... While reviewing the pet posts. I found many posts asking. "Cat or Dog" "Do you have pets, How many?.. Found many topics titled.. "Animal" all are different and good discussions.. But when we name our topics I think we should be specific.. Maybe a suggestion for like Opinion Questions.. To make this site look better and more professional we can try ... Making topics like this. Opinion: Do you you believe in such and such? Opinion: what is your views on such and such? Just a thought... And I see many recommended to avoid yes and no posts... Well.. Try making Questions and discussions more thoughtful.. Do you believe, Yes, or now, If so Why?... ... I also noticed many asking for b-days and names and stuff. With Identity theft really posting your b-day and year is not the best, IF you have that as your secret security Question in any of your password losses accounts.... People need to beaware of how much they post about themselves, and even their photos... Everything posted here we agreed to allow MyLot to post publicly... Even if we retain all the copyrights to our work and articles we need to be aware and remember this, as I know that I have seen many of my posts and discussions entering the search engines. So it is always good to answer as truthful and as honestly as you can. Now these personal questions... I am starting to avoid as well like. What color are your eyes? What color is your hair? Book Reviews: Movie Reviews: Are all good they would be easier to find and sort our if you had that in the topic line. Book Review: Did you like this book and why? Movie Review: Did you go see this movie was it any good? Then responding with ... Yes, It was good.. cause it was good.. pffft non informative :) ... Most of us would like something we can really go responding to like wildfire spit out good information and enjoy it while doing so. So... Recommendations on choosing topics, and what sort of discussions and topics do you all recommend avoiding? And What are all your tips to help improving the boards overall discussion of topics? :) .
