English is not my 1st language , what about you ?

English is not my 1st language, so some time i can't get the perfect and appropriate meaning of some word, words or sentence.not only that some time i can't explain my idea, feeling, experience etc properly, to mylot discussion , what i respond, may be i can't well explain actually what i want to tell. lol. my English is poor. what about you, are you face same problem, what i faced ?

our national language here is tagalog in the Philippines and second language is English.

that's nice, if English is your second language may be you are used to english in many where or alternately at your daily life. its sound good and thought your English is good enough . may very seems to fluent. our national and 1st language is Bengoly and English is our second too. but again English one of very important for every all and so many country treat this as their second language so.

yes our education pattern to American English.We use English in the form of writing,reading,speaking.it is an International language so need to be practice it whenever in school or work.thanks but i am just an average speaker not really fluent.

same here with u, sometimes i have to read and read it again to know what the meaning. when i open my dictionary and straight translate it to my language it is sound weird and does not make sense. so sometimes i just guessed what the meaning.

English is not also my first language. and i also have some difficulties most of the time conversing, talking and writing on mylot. most of the time, i skip responding to discussions if i cannot understand the topic especially if the topic is a bit deep in thoughts or the topic is a bit long. most of the time, i have to translate my thoughts first, before i write and sometimes, i have to rewrite and rephrase my writings to make it better. i cannot say i am poor but average in English communications.
