no point in letting sleeping dogs lie, they do haunt you. whenever i see people of my age(i'm 34)sharing a wonderfully mature relation with their parents, i'm reminded of how i was always bullied by my mom (i'm still being)with an impassive father engrossed in his own business. Mum always knew the best, i was never allowed to opionate on anything and whenever i rebelled, i was branded a disobedient, unrully, ungrateful, frivolous child. i literally escaped with my husband.the net has given me a wonderful opportunity to bond with people like u. i look forward to hearing from u again.

I am an only child too, but I never was lonely. My mom was a stay-at-home mom, and when my father got a hernia he was around a lot too. You can figure we aren't a rich family, but I've allways felt rich with attention from my parents. Also, my grandmother used to live with us till she passed away, and I grew up allways having her around. My uncle moved in when I was about 6 and still lives here, he's been here for over 14 years now. We've allways had a very lively and warm family, and I'm thankfull for that.
