He hails from South Africa. Was even the President of the country at one time and at the age of 89, is still going strong. I have a lot of respect and love for the man.

Mandella was a South African nationalist who was born in 1918. He was a lawyer by profession and a nationalist who fought for the independence of South Africa. In 1962, he was imprisoned for 27 odd years, when he was released from prison, he ran for Presdient and became the first black African leader! He ruled the country so well, brought both the black and the white together and created the rainbow nation! After 5 years in power he handed over the mantles of power to younger leader-Mr. Mbeki, that was very UnAfrican, given that most African Dictators prefer to rule for life! He is to me the greatest icon of a leader that the African Continent ever saw in the last 1000 years!
