blood donation or not?

have you ever donated your blood? the blood-picking bus come to our school once a month,everytime I pass it,I was curious about the blood-donation.but many people think it not good for health to donate your blood.you can get some disease or lost some part of your energe. although I thought of this,I still make up my mind to have one experience.I donated 200ml blood after a process of body-check.I hope my blood will finally be used to help others.but my tall and thin body seems to be effected ,of course felt tired and have a little headache.hope I can recover my energe soon. what do you think of blood donation.support or object?and have you ever done that before
