I feel like a two year old around my mother

My mother is a very strong woman... and I do admire her for that. My trouble is that she makes me feel like such a child whenever I am around her. I am anxious and nervous and stressed for days before I have to meet up with her. I never measure up to her expectations. Yesterday we had a family get together for MY oldest daughter who will be getting married in April. My daughter lives some states away and we were finally meeting the future husband and due to the fact that my daughter will be getting married in another country it may be the first and last time we will all be together. My daughter plans to abide in this country with her new husband and because my mother has much more space and money she has control of the get together. EVERYTHING. They are staying there, I have to go there to see them, and I have to ask to spend a little time with my daughter. At one point my mother told me to shut up yesterday... She has always been critical of my every move and I am hurt and frustrated. Has anyone else had any problems similar to this? Can you tell me how to deal with my "mommy" issues?
