What is to live if life is only a vapor? Life is but a vapor as the scripture saith. James 4:14 "Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. So is life of success and riches? No as a rich wise king once wrote in Ecclesiastes. 2 Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanties; all is vanity. 3 What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun? 4 One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth forever. If all is vanity what is life's point? All is vanity yet there is something worth living for something worth dying for. Yet what is it? Yes it is that time to give an answer a truthful answer one you may expect but here it comes. The scripture gives the answer also that testifies with believers who have been completely transformed from within their soul and changed into a completely new creation. The purpose of life is brought out in this. Jesus Christ said in John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto them, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 1 John 5:12 (KJV) He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. John 1:1-4 (KJV) 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not on the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. Philippians 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. There you have it to live is to live in Christ to believe on the only begotten son. Sure you living and breathing in this flesh but this flesh is full of sin which the wages thereof are death. Separation from God is not true life. You only know what the natural man feels but you will never feel the true life which is in Christ Jesus and was before the world began. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God; Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Give your life to Jesus and know true life life abundant. Confess your lying stealing murderous sins of the heart and the lust and defilement of your body and every thing you know in your conscience God gave you to the Lord Jesus Christ in prayer not a priest but directly to the Lord Jesus Christ and you will then become a new creation in Christ and know true life. Continue in his word and you will be a child of God!!! This is life!
