opinion on the due process

I am all for overturning due process, or at least amending it in some ways. It makes no sense to me that a criminal could be let free just because evidence was obtained without a warrant, or somehow regarded as unreasonable search and seizure. If there is evidence to convict that person of a crime, use it. The damage that would be caused by letting a criminal run free is, in my opinion, worse than violation of privacy. As my mom always said, privacy is a privilege. If the person is guilty, then face the consequences. Do not expect to be protected by the same set of laws that has just been broken. Just my opinion. Thoughts/comments?
