What I'm Thankful for

Due to some circumstances I have undergone and problems that I have faced, I seemed to have set aside the things - the blessings- that i have to be thankful for. There were times when I even asked God why i have to go through all those things.. Not until the past few days - when our country has encountered series of calamities - have I stopped questioning, most especially, stopped being selfish and self-centered. As I watched the heartbreaking news on TV - properties destroyed, if not totally ravaged by flood or mudslide btought by the typhoons, numerous people died, others still missing, survivors cold, tired and starving - I thought that I'm luckier than most of them. I have a good job, in good health, safe, healthy adn complete family, a home away from the flood, more than enough food to eat, and of course - my life.. just some of the things I should, and AM thankful for.
