the most effective and ideal thing to do is to get rid of that "someone else". some ways to do is to think that that someone else may not be thinking of you the same way you do for him/her so why bother thinking about him/her. Just tell yourself that it would be too unfair if you devote all your time thinking about that someone and thinking of other ways to prevent that someone from entering your mind. Tell yourself that you shouldn't let anyone affect your ways and get into the things you need to accomplish. Convince yourself that that someone isn't as bothered about you like you do and eventually you will think less of that someone. It is a mind problem so the best thing to do to fight it is through enhancing your mind power as well! Good luck!

In addition, I don't think it's a good idea to add other tasks to do just to forget that someone because you are just adding more destructions. Remember to think of ways to remove that someone from your mind so you can concentrate on the stuff you need to complete and not add a lot more destructions just to mask that other destruction. I hope I am making sense here..lol

Multitasking helps diminish other thoughts. Listen to music too.
