I live in an undeveloped area. Everything grows here. I grew up not familiar with the city life. We are so blessed with so much. Our land abundant with turmeric and lemongrass but it is going to waste. Does anyone know how much I can sell them? I rarely go out to market. I am unable to ask around. Help

Have you ever thought that I may just want to ask around as well? Prices vary and the reason why I posted is because location has something to do with the price. There is no stupid questions in the world just stupid people who knows nothing but bombard others with nasty comments. I wonder you must be so knowledgeable however your are not able to answer the question. My dear guru I have done my research first before I posted the question and frankly the answers of some of our friends are helpful in my market research.

I understand your situation. I am just situated in between, meaning I have lived in a farm or remote area and now I'm living in a town quite a distance from the farm. I knew what's luyang dilaw and lemon grass. As to prices, I can't tell you now because I have yet to visit our market to see if it's available by kilo or other measurement. As to lemongrass- our place has plenty of this plant and sold in a tiny bundle costing P5.00. I hope my answer satisfy you.

Thank you for the immediate response. I wanted to know the prices so I would know if it is worth the trouble harvesting these plants and supplying entrepernuers who are in need of the product.

Hi friend... It depends upon market of your country. If you are living in India then 1kg of tumeric costs 250 rs means nearly 5$ per kg.
