got a new job

i was working my dream job as assistant curator at a museum but it was contract work, my contract is ending soon and another job opportunity came up. i feel like it's a step down since i was allready at my dream job but this is at a tourism office which also runs a small museum so i still get the museum aspect just not as much as i had before. oh well it's a permanent job and i don't have to worry about contracts ending anymore.

Tourism means that you develop good people skills and can multi-task. While it may not look like it, it may be a step up into a management position with a bit of experience in your field and the addition of the new skills.

well the best thing about your new job is that it's permanent, which means you won't have to worry anymore. Also, you still do get to be occupied with some tasks concerning a museum, so I guess you're lucky because you've had experience in this field. Good luck with your new job :)
