Have You Ever Eaten Eggnog Ice Cream?

Hey Mylotter Ice Cream Lovers I am a fan and lover of Eggnog Ice cream. Turkey Hill makes a wonderful batch. I only wish that they would keep that ice cream available all-year-around. Are there any lovers out there for this type of ice cream?

Egg Nog Ice Cream? I don't mind Egg Nog, but where on Earth did the idea of Egg Nog Ice Cream come from? That sounds like something that would be available in the summertime, not in the winter season. I would love to try some though, just because Egg Nog is a very curious, rare, holiday treat that only happens around the festive holiday season. Stores around here are already stocking Egg Nog (drinkable), even before Halloween. That is kinda freaking me out.

I highly doubt that stores would wait that close to the Christmas season these days to stock Egg Nog Ice Cream or the liquid format until November. It seems like once Halloween hits, Christmas starts to take center stage. That kind of pisses me off in the sense that Remembrance Day is within the fold of November as well. That is marketing for you though, getting the products out in good time to ensure a great turnout of sales.

YES I love it! Edy's still makes it for the holidays here in NYC. I've got to try the turkey hill one. I've made my own a few times it was fun.

Thanks for the response. I have tried Eddy's and I found it to be a bit heavy tasting for me. I still wish that it could be sold during the Spring to Summer months...maybe all-year-around??? Boy!!!, I could go for some right now!!!

I've never tried egg nog flavor ice cream before, but I don't think I will. xD I really, really hate egg nog and the thought of it in ice cream form absolutely repulses me, lol.

Yes! Eggnog ice cream is delicious! My favorite is having a scoop with a slice of warm apple pie... yum! I've never had the Turkey Hill kind, in fact, I've only ever had Eggnog flavored ice cream when it's homemade. I'll have to check for the Turkey Hill next time I'm at the store though, it would be great to just bring a batch home!
