My 4 year old is going to be Mary Poppins this year! There are NO costumes anywhere that I can buy, so we've had to put it together ourselves. Thrift shops are wonderful for putting a decent but cheap Halloween costume together! The dollar stores have been great for accessories. We just got some faux berries and flowers to hot glue onto a black hat. Oh - and I got some free black boots via Freecyle. I'm pretty proud of the costume and my daughter goes absolutely nuts because she loves Mary Poppins! Happy Halloween!

I only have one child she is going to be turing 2 in November. Me and my hubby have not bought her costum yet becouse we are still debating on what we want her to be. We are thinking about Tinker Bell or an Angel or a Flower Garden Nomb. They are all such cute costumes just hard to pick. we are going to take her and let her pick between the 3 differnt costumes.

Those all sound so precious. My little girl was a carebear, and pooh bear, at those ages.

My little girl isn't quite into the princess role yet. It is more fun to be exotic animals. She was Little Bo Peep one year, and was adorable.

My little girl was easy. She's going to be 2 years old two days before halloween on the 29th. She's still young enough that she doesn't really get the whole costume thing. My sister in law gave me the cutest kitty costume. It's black and white, super fuzzy and comes with a pair of kitty ears on a headband, which I'm sure my little one will have off of her head in 2 point 2 seconds after I put them on. I'm going to paint her nose pink and draw on some whiskers. My little boy is another story all together. He's four and wants to be EVERYTHING. He wants to be batman, superman, a transformer, a race car driver, an astronaut....well, you get what I mean. So, the jury is still out on him. I told him, he needs to make up his mind, because once the costume is bought, that's it. He has to be whatever he picked.

When my kids were under three the costume stayed on just long enough for a quick picture, and to trick or treat at three houses LOL those were the days.

This year my son is going to be Captain Rex from Star Wars. He is such a Star Wars freak. When he was 2 he was darth vadar. Last year he wanted to be Batman really bad which I though was funny since he had never seen batman cartoons or movies in his life. I got him the costume anyway though. Happy Halloween everyone!

I can't say I know who Captain Rex is, shame on me. My son has been the Thing that one was actually cool, Batman, Spiderman, and a Power Ranger.

I actually just bought my children's costumes today. I've been depressed lately and my sister-in-law and I went on a shopping spree. There is nothing better than some good retail therapy. I do have to admit though that I didn't buy anything that I didn't need, and everything that I bought was on sale.
My six year old is going to be a Genie for Halloween and my three-year-old is going to be a dinosaur. I'm super impressed with their costumes because they both love them and they were also on sale for 30% off and got to combine with my two coupons for Children's Place of 15% off and 10% off.

Its cool this year, because the economy stinks so bad costumes are marked down early, where before you had to wait until the day after.

This is probably the last year my son will go. He knows that, due to him being a big boy, I refuse to pay over 20 dollars for a costume, and that is a alot. I will have to wait and see how much he grows this next year.
