Congratulations dmercedes! Your first sentence is a PERFECT Zen sentence. It is as deep as the Universe if you think a second more about it's meanings. And I am sure you were not aware of this when you wrote it. It just came out... and it is not by accident. You' ll understand in a second why... Your first sentence sounds Zen because your consciousness is looking for answers. Do not feel weird about it. Actually you can feel happy. Because what is going on is that you realize, so you are conscious of the fact that your mind is saying to herself, ok I got the point, I am bored now of this thing, let's do something else. But in the same time you also know that's not true. Well, the fact is... your mind is not You! Your mind is a just a tool of your body. An asset. And it's yours. Your's who? ... Ahaaa...so you are a different person than your mind? See the logic here? What you were actually doing was You were observing your mind, like when you watch a movie. Why you should be happy? Because 99% of the world population NEVER realize this during their lifetime. They think they ARE their MIND. Which is not true. But true in the same time because the mind rules their entire body and life in a second by second continuous process. Those are the humans who are there but they don't know they are there, if you understand what I mean. Why your sentence is not an accident? Because you have a higher consciousness fighting for the real answers of life. So... I will continue the long chain of very inspired advices before me saying to keep asking questions. You will find your answers at the right time. Just don't be afraid of life. Fear nothing and question everything. it' s the only chance for the future. Peace, my friend :)

Knowledge brings UNDERSTANDING!!! Search for knowledge. QUESTION: What is the first thing a wise man will realize once he becomes wise?????? Anybody?? anybody??? The first thing a wise man will realize once he becomes wise is that there is so much more to learn!!!

Don't think of it as a problem. You cannot possibly understand everything, as some things are not meant for us to know. Otherwise, everything would become too one dimensional, too predictable. Just revel in the mysteries of life and the beauty of its wonder.

Hello there!
I think this is what might be happening-
You do understand what you think you understand, but you don't understand it completely, which 'might' make you feel that you don't understand it at all. Or, maybe you really don't understand it at all. What's really happening here is that you 'know' about it, but that's it.
Either way, I would suggest going into a little depth relating to that particular "thing". Reading something on it, perhaps over the internet or in books can be quite helpful! :)
Also, talking to people, maybe teachers in case of some classroom subjects, parents in case of something else, or friends!
If you want to 'understand' something that you 'know', explore! :D
That's what I usually do and it does prove to be quite effective.
Good luck! :)

OK..And away we go..
If you think you understand something but realize that you don't, then obviously you must understand it well enough to realize that you don't understand it as well as you thought...So, you must either accept your understanding that your understanding is inefficiant to actually understand what you think you understand but don't. Or increase your understanding of those things you think you understand but don't thereby proving your understanding that you don't understand to be inefficient...
