So you strolled out on the street one day, under the blanket of night, on purpose of enjoying lives with your friends. You are having fun, and you want to memorize the event. You pull out your cellphones and you take pictures and you realized that they are blurry and noisy. Your fun is ruined.
The next weekend you strolled out to a concert, a digital camera on tow, you are told to use ISO800 or ISO1600 on the camera to avoid blur. You take pictures of the band in actions and the overall crazy people. Your pictures are so mucked up by those little spots called noises that you throw your camera to the stage and have done with it.
So what if someone gives you a pair of new camera, told to be able to record images at concert and nightlives without the blur and noise that make you want to curse your live? You'd probably take those cameras and stroll out as usual.
What about if that camera is Canon Powershot G11 and/or Canon Powershot S90? They are, based on current images put in Flickr and DPReview, the current King and Queen of Darkness of compact cameras. Check their images, and you would want to get one for yourselves and those moments of lives that you so want to treasure, night by nigh.

Night shots and close ups are the one things my camera can't seem to handle, so yeah, interesting...
