Do you like Techno?

Recently I've found that a LOT of people don't like techno or trance, but I don't understand why! I like rock as well but trance and house gather my thoughts and I actually work BETTER with it playing in the background.
What are your opinions on techno?

i like some of it but i cant listen to it but for so long some have the same beat to it. i have a friend who is a techo dj and wants me to go to a show with her.. its like no way in hell lol

Really? haha go to a show with her! :P Just to see what it's like! Sure, it can be hard to listen to techno but when youre at a club or a show it's really hard NOT to like it! :D
Maybe that's just me though :P

Wow, I thought a lot of people liked techno. Guess you learn something everyday. I love techno and listening to it in my car is awesome. I do like a lot of music though. Maybe most people have listen to bad techno songs?

Yea I don't know. I thought more people liked it. Listening to it in the car is great though because most of the time it's very uplifting. Definitely a good genre if you're in movement :P

I will listen to almost anything except techno and rap. Techno is far more annoying than rap. There really isn't much to the music. I like something with a little more depth.

Have you ever listened to trance? I guess you probably wouldn't want too but there is depth in some of them, if by depth you mean meaning than i'm going to have to stand with you on that one but if you mean depth and complexity then techno does have it. At least in my opinion.

You know, I like most music. But techno is one style that makes me want to grate my teeth. I don't know why. Maybe its because all of the songs are 15 minutes long and sound exactly the same from beginning to end. Maybe its because all of the songs sound alike, anyway. I don't know. I have always hated it. But no offense to anyone who likes it. We all have our personal preferences.

Yea I don't know, most kinds of music people can put up with and theres a grey area. But I find that with trance and techno and house that people's opinions are more black and white!

Techno is my Favorite Type of music of all time. I always listen to it when i am riding the bus to school and from school. i have also found that alot of people at my school including my friends do not like techno they like either country (BLAH) or Rap/Hiphop I like techno better than rap/hiphop but i still listen to both. Techno is really good party music espicially at skating places.

hi,Decoratedbus,I listen to all kinds of music.I think music is music-whatever genre it is.However,I cant keep listening to techno for long times.I think in techno I like dance music by timbaland and keri .And trance music,I like a few only.It must be wonderful that you love techno and trance.

I hate techno music with a passion. First of all, I cannot sing to it, so that is a big negative. Also, it seems to me that it is not really music- there is no real talent involved in producing those sounds. No one has to play an instrument, or write lyrics, or sing the vocals...its just a bunch of noise.
