Haha.... For me, before sleeping, i will think of some topics which i will post tomorrow on mylot. But i need to write it down, or i will forget in the morning when i get up. lol Even when i am working, i thought of an interest topic i think mylot friends will like, i will write in down so that when i am free later i can post it. Or it will slip my mind. what about you? Write it down or keep it in mind?

Hi Vivian, I also do that. When i am in the mood I list down all the possible titles that i want to start with mylot. I even write down bullet contents and and key words to guide me with my discussions. But when I am ready to start some of the discussion, somebody posted the same topic and even the content. So i need to think of a new and unique topics. This is very challenging but most of the time i do responses and make comments with other mylot members and friends discussions.

Yes you are right. You will also have the chance to edit and even improve your work and further explain it. More good and fun discussions with mylot!

Hi VivianChen, I have a terrible memory so if I ever think of topics for mylot I have to write them down somewhere or they will be gone when the time comes to use them. I used to have a sheet of paper on my desk which has a list of topics on it, but I went on holiday recently so tidied everyhting up and I think I threw it away . Since I have come back I haven't created a new one because I stopped creating new discussions, so now if I think of something I really want to add here it will probably go straight on mylot so it stays relevant. So many on the list I had stopped being meaningful to me so I just never added them. Oh well! All the best and I hope you have a nice rest Dranz

No, I don't usually write them down. I will just try to remember them but if I do forget by the next morning then hopefully it will come to mind again later on in the day. I usually just have things come to mind when I sit down at the computer and begin typing.

If I make out any idea to start a discussion, I'll write it immediately on mylot. I don't need to write on paper before posting here.

If I'm not in front of computer, I don't think of starting a discussion.

Yes i do this. When i am in office and got a free time, i usually think about a topic for mylot. Since my office block internet access to mylot, and many other social networking site, so i need to write it down or else, at night when i want to mylotting, i forget about the topic.

I had this habit when I just joined Mylot:) At that time I tried to think out new discussions now and then. And once I thought out one discussion, I would write it down immediately because I was afraid I would forget it later. I don't have this habit now because I know I run out of thinking out new and unique discussions:) I love China

I try to write my ideas down as they come to me so I don't forget them. Unfortunately, there are many times when I write things down and end up losing my paper! I guess I really need to find a safer place to put it.

Hi vivianchen, well I have a couple of almost illegible words which I jotted down this weekend as a prompt for something I would have put up if there had been any point but generally no. I usually find that when I'm actually on here responding or commenting I'll think of something and immediately post it as a discussion. The couple of ideas I've had and not immediately posted will eventually come on here when I'm in the mood. I find spontaneity suits me better and if ideas come I post them, if they don't I leave it.

I don't start a discussion so there's no need for me to do such things. I prefer to response than starting any. I find it's easier to give in my opinions that sharing it in a new thread/post. Plus, when I need to write one, my brain just freeze. It's annoying.

Yes, I would write it down or I am like you I would forget what my topic would be. As I am getting older everyday I need to write lots of things or they will slip my mind. Most people have so many things going on in their lives at the sametime that if they did not write somethings down they would forget some of them.
