I am currently on a contract and may only get a new phone after the 2 years after the contract has expired. My problem is that after a year a half my phone is not in that good working condition anymore as I use it alot and I am kind of rough on cellphones.
I would like to know how often you mylotters buy new phone?
Have a great day and happy mylotting!

Well a little secret that most people at the phone place you use wont tell you. I was with att. My phone started having lots of trouble five months before my renewal. They say you can renew before then however you have to pay for the phone. And im guessing your not wanting to pay two hundred dollars. If you go online you may be able to fine the phone you want cheaper or refurbished. You can get it before your two years. And it want postpone that renewal either. So say you have the phone one year. You buy a phone offline. THen have that one for a year. Then your renewal comes up and you get another phone free. Thats the way att was but it may be different for whoever you are with. I know you can get cheap phones off ebay. I bought a refurbished phone off the att site for half or less of what it was worth.

what kind of contract is that. a phone can be replaced any moment and we can buy a new one anytime. I have a cell phone and i'm not planning to buy a new one as I don't buy cell phones often. Once I buy it and it goes for years and years.

i buy one when the cellphone im using is not functioning well and cant be repaired and if it can be repaired (its might be expensive) so i just buy a new one, but it depends on the budget too... my phone now 6 months old, because my old phone's lcd is always white, no images... so it is expensive to buy a new lcd to replace it...
