I think the mother nature has already been pissed off to many people from different countries. It is all because of the abuse of the nature. One major example here is our country, Philippines, we were just attack by two major typhoons (Ondong, Pepeng). Many people has lost their lives. Most suffered from landslides. I, myself has experience to swim in the road with high level of water. Actually, the water level is taller than me.
Taiwan was also affected by typhoon Parma sending thousand of families to evacuation centers due to flash flood and landslide as typhoon lingered near the southern part of the island.
In Vietnam, thousands also fled their homes due to massive flooding caused by typhoon Ketsana. Same thing happened in Cambodia while __ people died in Laos.
Just recently, the island of Sumatra in Indonesia was hit by a powerful earthquake. Padang, the capital and most important city was severely devastated as buildings and establishments collapsed making it the worst earthquake to ever struck the region.
What is the implication of this? God must have something very important to say. what is your insight on this?

I guess she really is. Or probably it's nothing like her being so pissed off instead it's her being very sick and her immune system is up and running, trying to get rid of all the dirty stuff dumped on her. Or probably it's something like a mother wanting her children to learn from their mistakes, for which we aren't really good at doing. Let's admit it, we're at fault here. Everything we have is so prone to abuse and we don't even learn or grow up. We always keep at it blindly and are consumed by our selfishness that we don't even consider the situation of our living space as long as we're living a luxurious and easy life. That's why, as Gil Grissom put it, "I love humanity, it's people I can't stand." Precisely.

The only thing that i can say is that "mother nature forgive all those people who
abuse the environment." pity those innocent people who are not aware of what is
happening. i hope this won't happen again. the government and the people itself
should make an action in this scenarios.

One well known architect had made the right conclusion. Every thing that had happened was not an act of God, for it was man made. We all reap the effects of our neglect to take care of what God has given us. It is never to late to try in our own little way to save our planet earth.

I'm so sorry to hear this from you. Actually, I have watched and read in the news
paper on what has happened in your country and i really pity those people who were
affected by the said earthquake, we should really take good care of our nature. We
cannot really control the mother nature when she revenge. It can kill numerous
people. We should pray for those people who don't care of the nature.

I don't think God have anything to do with it this are natural dissasters that would happen every now and then it's been like that since the world began as far as I know. And is not going to change [ despite what any president,or prime minister of any country in the world say so] no one, NO ONE has the power to change nature. To answer your question [ what is your insigth on this?] I think the world is taking it's course the way it was suppose to do and that my friend is nature for you.

I think these are already the effect of all the abuse done by the people to the
nature. if they are going to continue this, i'm sure we will be getting more
revenge from the nature, i pity all those innocent individuals and citizens who
are suffering because of this.

It is called the nature taking control into its hands. When man fails to control his actions nature takes the reins and the results of those actions are very devastating. Not only in Philippines, even in India we experience unconditional floods and draughts. This year is a mix of both draught and floods. The combination is a disaster for us. No one can do anything when mother nature decides to take care of things by herself. So we need to act before she comes. I think the problem is more in the pacific region. The tectonic plates are very unstable there. If anything serious happens than only God can help those people there.

yes!its true the more years are coming the people are not aware on taking our environment. And also for the growing country, and industrilized country they didnt mind our mother nature, like for example more buildings, golf courses, establishments are coming, but where it will be built up?Of coarse to a place where the trees is there. They prefer to build building than preserved our environment, some country they do illegal loggings of trees, quary of sands, burning of trees to make charcoal and sell it.Some places like riverbanks, some part of the seas they are building malls, market etc.For me more decades are coming, we dont take care of our mother nature and preserved our environment. No more trees that will help to drink the flood, no more fresh air to breath!I hope it will not be too late or were not to be the victim of these flood or our family member.

people are suffering. If they will continue to do this many will be affected.
the government should act on this or should make a law about this.

Hey,
Well u r right. A lot of people are suffering from the natural calamities these days. I wonder its all signs of Global warming. Even here in India we witnessed some odd behaviour of climate. We saw heavy rainfall in the month of Oct, which is so strange.
Its all result of us abusing the natural resporces and destroying the ecological balance. We humans say that we have to save nature, actually its the nature who is saving us. Becoz we dotn have any answer to natural calamities.
Cheers,
Tutul

You are very lucky that your country has not experience the drastic effect or the revenge of the nature. Maybe, most of the people in your area knows how to take good care of the environment. I hope this won't happen again. I really pity those people who really suffered from the typhoon.

This is I think the consenquences of our actions. It is called bad karma. Trees give us oxygen and it avoids flood because it enters the roots of a trees, but what we did to some trees, you can point your fingers to illegal loggers. Instead of planting trees what do we do, build a new condominium, townhouses, real estate thing. That is why the canals for the flood are blocked so we have flood. If I will include all the wrong doings here you will be reading my post until Christmas. To be shortened, nature is saying something to us. That this is the consequences of our act, what we have to do now is to plant trees in our backyard.Recycled the garbage, clean the drainage and over all take good care of nature.

hello rberon1985,
maybe GOD is just reminding us that it's about time to give importance to everything that HE has created. that we need to protect them and not to destroy them for we're the one to suffer at the end.
besides, maybe GOD is weaking us up for for some reason or the other we're forgetting to pray.

Global warming is the culprit and it was caused by humans. For decades, humans have neglected nature in the name of profit. And we are now reaping the products of that neglect. Nature has not been pissed off, it was merely reacting. Those two typhoons that hit us should serve as a warning that during calamities all are even.
