Diwali is the festival of lights.Almost every indian celebrate this festival around the globe.we can even say it is most celebrate festival among other hindu festivals.there is traditional way to celebrate diwali.everybody at home purchase a new dress for the occasion, prepare sweets at home,light fireworks ,earthen lamps all around their home and most importantly have oil bath early in the morning and worship god.
Some even purchase consumer durables during this festival season only because to use those festival offers.So this provides a very big oppurtunity to n number of businesses.
I can even say no other festival has such an great importance in india.

this is one of the biggest festival in india and during the time of deepawali the economy also comes at a fast track. every body starts buying things. I have a experience in a big mall today in lucknow that there were shortage of conusmer appliances.
every body likes to enjoy and feel the festival.

Very informative topic, thanks. I actually know very little of Hindu festivals and I find this an interesting subject. Hindus, I believe have a very rich history and I want to learn more. Your temples are very colorful and rich in designs which are indicative of the beliefs of the people.
