I've traveled to a few places and mine is Barbados at the moment because of the beautiful scenery, wonderful weather, and the really nice people. What about you, what's your favorite place and why?

i haven't traveled to too many places. Althought I havent been there, I'd love to travel to an exotic island. I think sitting on the beach all day with a margarita would be the ultimate vacation for me.

My favorite destination is Samoa. It is situated in the Pacific Ocean. It has palm fringed beaches, rain forest, waterfalls and lava flow. Robert Louis Stevenson's house is now a museum and he is buried on a large hill there. The weather is hot all year round.
My favorite city is Sydney in Australia. It has the white sails that are the opera house and the gray harbor bridge. I like its botanical gardens with the friendly parrots. I adore the beaches, north and south of the wonderful harbor.

I have so many places/countries that I would like to visit around the world.
But let's me figure out my most favourite place is Paris and Japan.

I can only comment on the places I've been. That being said, my favorite place I've been to would have to be Spain. I went there when I was around 11 years old. My grandmother and grandfather were born in Spain, so I had gone with them and my mother to visit relatives. I remember being by the ocean and the nice climate. Also, it was the first time I saw topless women roaming around at the beach.
I remember there being a lot of things to do. One of my favorite experiences was watching a bullfight. I was so worried that the matador would get stuck by the bull. Looking back on it now, I fear for the bull more than the man. I know now that the bull gets killed in the end. I never tried the running of the bulls, where everyone lines up in a narrow street and they let loose a bunch of bulls. People get stuck and crushed by the bulls because there is no room to dodge them. The runners and the bulls can only go straight down that narrow corridor.
Who made up that ridiculous past time?

My favourite country is Egypt, because I am crazy about Egyptology. I love the visit the sites and temples, look at carvings and statues and try to recognise some of the hieroglyphs.
My favourite city is Barcelona, because I love the architecture, especially the buildings by Gaudi and his works in the Parc Guell.
