Earh Quake in Halmahera, North Sulawesi

I hear a new earth quake is happening in Halmahera, North Sulawesi. The shock magnitude is about 6.2 Ritcher Scale. Did anyone got any news about the earthquake? Like when the earth quake actually happened, and is it as fatal as what happend in padang, west sumatera. Thanks

my friends, i think most of city in indonesia can be hit by earthquake except Kalimantan island. so i think it`s normal when we hear about earthquake in indonesia. now the problems is about the evacuation after earthquake

Yes, i think so too. I think planning a prevention act is important now. The government must check most of our building. Check if the structure is strong enough to hold a big earthquake. Government also must socialize about what to do when an earthquake strike.
