Will you buy counterfeit brand goods?

Let's suppose that there are two goods before you. One is a real LV handbag, which is worth 1000 USD. The other is a counterfeit LV handbag, which is worth 10 USD. The quality of the counterfeit one is as high as the real one, so it's difficult for a ordinary person to distinguish them. And you would not face the music if you choose to buy the counterfeit one. In such circumstance, what decision would you make? I'm expecting to hear your real thought.

IF I were wealthy, I might buy the genuine one, but nope...I outgrew my desire for "brands" years ago. I'd buy the less expensive, good quality bag. Even if I had the 1000, I might still make that choice and give the extra to a worthwhile charity. Some things are pure waste, even for the very rich, in my opinion.
So many in need! And those who could share, if they wished.

I think it's sensible to buy the suitable one instead of the expensive one. For instance, even if Bill Gates bought a counterfeit LV bag, most people would regard it as a real one. And a real LV bag bought by a poor person is more likely to be regarded as counterfeit.
