Hi All!! I often see many discussions which are repeated again and again in this forum. Why is it so?? Do you ever repeat your discussions to increase your posts?? Many does that.Though I never tried it out. Please share your views regarding this... Happy Mylotting.

It doesn't bother me any. There are so many discussions posted on this site, that it is inevitable that some will be repeated. I have responded to this same question before. I think part of it is the number of users. I can also see reposting a discussion after a while, to see if you get different opinions or ideas. Especially if it is a disccussion reguarding things like movies or books. I know it bothers some people, but if it is a repeated discussion that I don't want to respond to I just ignore it and move onto the next one.

Repeated topics are deleted as we are told in the Guidelines not to post them.

No friend, its against the Mylot rules. If we repeat a discussion that may get deleted and our reputation and the number of posts will get reduced. Happy Mylotting.

I've never repeated my discussion only for increasing my posts. Sometimes it's just we don't know someone else has ever posted some discussion before. We didn't mean to repeat it. Repeating again and again is really nonsense. Nobody like it.

hi kiki, i have also noticed this phenomenam. and i found that someone created the silimar discussion with mine, and some of which after responce to my discussion. i never created the the same discussion with others. but i think it is ok. as people love to respond the same discussion again and again, that's ok.

Hi Kiki! Yes, it is true that we find similar discussions many a times on mylot. Actually, most of the users don't search the older discussions on a particular topic, before starting their own, hence the repeatition. I always try to start a discussion on new topic and do not prefer to repeat any of my older discussions.

I don't repeat anything. I try to put up new ideas all the time. I guess some people get the same kind of ideas and so the discussions come close or seem to be the same. Once it is not intentional its okay, I guess.

I try not to repeat discussions. I think it's boring to ask the same things over and over.

I don't repeat MY own discussions, as in post them more than once, unless it was on accident or something that happened during the "glitch" MyLot had last weekend. Otherwise, on purpose? No way. It would end up getting deleted anyway, because as someone else mentioned..It's against the Guidelines to post things more than once, and more than that..It's just plain annoying! lol. I do, however, start SIMILAR discussions from what other people have in the past - but I don't think this counts!

I may have unkowingly, but I don't start all that many discussions, as I post respoonses instead. I can't repeat when I do that. You are right though, that there have been a lot of repeated discussions. I think it is because the newies on hee, don't really know that they have been posted before many times, so they just post. A lot of the repeat discussions, I won't bother with. I really have nothing new to add to what has already been posted, so it is better not to try to respond. Ihave also gone to my inteests to see if there is anything I can post to there, and let others pust new disucssions that haven't been answered already. To me, it is very monotonous to keep posting the same things over and over. People will lose earnings when they are delted, so why even bother? Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I also like posting responses.... I rarely post discussions. Its better not to violate Mylot guidelines. So discussions must be innovative.

It so happens that we are all here to make some money, to be honest. And so, when we have some idea or thoughts we immediately post it here without looking through other posts. I haven't repeated any of my earlier posts nor do I intend to, but sometimes it so happens that without our knowledge, a similar post could have been uploaded here. Its just coincidence, I guess. Anyway, stay away from repeating posts because it just isn't worth trying.

well there are millions of discussion topics floating around..it is hard to know if the topic you want to open has never been discussed before ...having said that i am sure alot of people don't even care if the topic is there or not already..they create it anyways to get their 2 cents (or 1 lol)..

No, I have not repeated my discussions. I have seen repeated ones and some are just a little bit different. I answer them because sometimes I think of something I did not say on the other one.
