So, if you gonna have a new cell phone, would you be picky on it. For me, my only purpose to have a cell phone just to make calls, and receive calls. Nothing else. For my girlfriend, she has to make calls and text, and also be able to listen to music, radio, and get online surf while I was driving or waiting in an appointment. So, usually she was so picky on her cell phone functionaility and other features. Mostly, I got my cell phone free because I won't care whatever I got, it just be able to call and text. Everything else, I could done it through my home computer. For her, her phone cost a lot more than I think. But she was happy with it. Well, different perspective. What about you, are you picky on your mobile phone?

Yes I am, although I dont use it a lot, I would love one that would have a lot of features, I still havent found one yet. I am still using a black and white display whole (yeah its OLDDDD) but I just havent found the right one yet.
When the i heard the iphone was coming out, i was really excited, but then I heard ppl saying that the iphone had poor battery life so i decided not to purcahse one.
When iphone 3GS came out, i was disappointed, although they increased the batery life, they only added basic features that other phones already had.

I would say thay I am more concern about the battery life of my cell phone too. On my previous cell phone, the battery only last long about 2 days max. Except the Nokia brand has longer life battery. Can't you believe it?

My current Nokia (The black and white one) from the year 2000 can have battery life up to 2 days talktime, which i think is pretty amazing.
And one thing with this phone is GAMES.
A lot of phones now a days only provide trials, and my phone has 4 full games =) And a classic one too, Snakes 2. which is always fun.

great mind think alike. I recently had a new cellphone with simple features too. I like it, and I don't have much complaint about it. That is it. That is the cell phone I am looking for. nothing else.

When my husband and I got new cell phones a year ago, I did a lot of research to find exactly what we wanted. We only use our phones for short calls and keep it with us when we are away from home in case we have car trouble or are going to be late.
The most important feature for us was the keypad. My husband has large hands and our old phones were not easy for him to dial. His fingers would push on the wrong buttons and he would get frustrated. We also just use a pay as you go/prepaid service because it was not economical for us to pay a high monthly fee and only use the phone for a few minutes a month.
I found the best phone for us in a Kyrocera and use Virgin Mobile. Our flip phone also has a camera which came in handy when my hubby had a fender bender and he took pictures of the damage. We are both very happy with our phone and service.

I bought a new phone a few months ago. I wanted the one that was a touch screen and had a keyboard because I liked how they looked. So that's the one I got and I got unlimited texting on it and voicemail. I don't have internet because I'm home most of the time and don't really have a need to have internet on my cell phone. I just need to be able to call out and receive calls and I do like to text pretty much since I'm home all day long. It gives me something to do when I'm bored. lol

Well when I bought new cell phone few months back I wanted it to have a good camera, internet capability, function for music and id possible some more cool stuff (I have GPS with it). I am very pleased with my cell (except for the plastic casing - they even don't make metallic ones for mine :( ), but the picture quality is very good for me and I even can listen radio with it :). So all in all I would say I'm picky when it comes to cell phones ^^.

Hmm, not for me. I have it because I need to make emergency calls or receive calls from friends. When it comes to cell phone, all I need just be able to receive and send out calls. That is all I ever wanted from my phone.

When I was younger, I used to be very picky with my mobile phone. I would always switch to the latest or the one with more functions. Now I am more practical, like you, I only use it for call and text. I seldom even use the camera on my phone. I don't use the radio or MP# player also because I don't want to run out of battery while I am on the road. I don't care much about the manufacturer either. I can survive with the simplest phone there is.

Yes, I will be very picky while picking up cell phones. I mean, I will choose the best one, not on the side of the brand, but on the side of its function. I don't need any fancy brand, I just need one useful cell phone which allows me get the most of it. Basically, cell phone is used to make a call, receive one, and sending sms. Other than that, it's just additional feature added onto cell phone and I don't use that much. So, as long as I can use cell phone normally, I will definitely go for it, even if it's already oldfashioned.

I am not picky on my cell phone. I am quite same as you. The three function I need from my cell phone are calling, texting, and alarm. I pay less attention to the style of my cell phone as well. When I buy a cell phone, I put price in the first priority. I think it is really not worthy to cost a high price to get a new style cell phone, as more updated style are come out very soon, and price usually get down a lot for just several months...
Thank you for your post and have a great day.

Hi there,
Any cell phone will do, as long as it meets the personal needs of a person depending on his or her job or status in life. Say, would you be picky if your phone budget is only minimal?

I was once a picky guy also when it comes to mobile or cellular phones. I used to pick the trendy and the most versatile, when it comes to features. It was only lately that I've come to realize that those kind of phones only last a year to me. They may provide various functionality but they tend to easily get broken because of this feature and so I switched back to the not so trendy but very reliable kind of phone. I'm much more happy now than before because I don't have to worry about it getting broken within a year, if it still do, at least the cost for repair is not that high.
Happy Mylotting!
