In times of danger, do you pray?

Prayer is the only way for us to communicate with God. Therefore we should pray with sincerity. We should pray always not just when we are countering problems or such as calamities. We should also pray to thank God for all that blessings that He gave to us and for giving us a chance to live and enjoy the beauty of His creation. I will state some reasons why we have to pray. First we should pray for thanks giving, second we should pray to ask forgiveness of our sins, and we should pray for our requests to God.

I do not believe in any deity or deities and therefore do not have personal relationships with anything supernatural. However, I respect everyone's beliefs and if asking for help from God gives you hope in times of need then I think that is a beautiful thing to have. I myself hope for the best but plan for the worst. If the worst hits me and there is seemingly no way out then I'll try to find one. If there is a will there is a way. I wouldn't agree with holding this statement as an absolute. There are times where people do all they can to prevent something from happening and it's just not enough. I'm glad to hear that you partake in something as incredible as religion and God. There's always room for optimism but don't carried away. :)

Yes, I do pray in times of danger. It calms me down and I can think better. When something bad happen praying will releaves the stress of what is happening.

In my case i do pray when i require the help of god and get his help by one or other way. Real example of mine:- 1. Once i was very nerveous for my school examination because i have not done any preparation of it. I pray to god to help me getting pass in it. I wrote everything which comes up in my mind in my examination paper and i got pass in it. 2. Another real example i was doing job at remote place for more than 3yrs. my parents request me to come back to hometown. i pray to god and he made my life easier. I got a job in my hometown with better profile, package and job of my interest. There are many such real example...... Just pray with pure heart and god will be always ther to help you.. There are many such thing which i was in need of but not really pray to god for it, and i have i got it with his blessing...

i do! prayers gives me hope even when the situation looks like it's hopeless. faith keeps me hanging on that someone or something will surely be there for such times. prayers keeps me sane in insane moments :)

I will do. I also pray before doing an important thing. I don't think that a pray can create a mystery, but it make me more confiant and brave.

You should not pray only in times of danger, it should be every day. as much as possibles we should pray every minute.Before you sleep,when you wake up, when we were eating,before you going out to house.We should be pray all the times, so that we would out of danger all the time, and also for our safety and guidance.Prayer means your communicating with GOD, as for his help,divine grace and mercy.

Definitely yes! It is stated that "PRAY WITHOUT CEASING". Through prayers, you can have a direct communication unto Him and for with Him, nothing shall be impossible.

well that really depends on the religious beliefs of a person...i personally am an agnostic so i have nothing to pray to lol..i just hope for the best lol sounds silly but that all i got to do in dire situations..just hope for the best cheers
