I watched this show but not every night as the time slot of the show is very late and still have a job on the following day. But anyway I have been watching PBB for the past three nights and I don't know what to say regarding the current plot of the show, it's not fairly distributed, I'm talking about the exposure of each house mate, it seems the show just focus on the tasks of "new boarders" and the original house mates looked like support casts with not much task to do.

i dont watch it, ever since they started it. i feel that its foolishness doing those task for big brother, sort of like making a fool of yourself and a prisoner in that house. That's just my opinion, PEACE.

I agree with you, today's PBB is a bit foolish compared to the first season, the task is so silly and creepy. Only three and two people doing tasks and the rest of the house mates looked like stupid props, and yet they will suffer the consequences if the "other boarders" failed to fulfill the task in a week. What a foolish tactic.

Hehehehe, very well said nra, actually before I cringed when I learned that PBB would air the 24-hour activities of the house mates, which for me, some kind of invading of privacy. I don't know if I can't stand it if I will be in their shoes.

I'm quite a fan of PBB but my fave was the 1st season(with nene, jayson, franzen). I understand your sentiments, I think they need to do that to attract viewers. I like the cooperation of houseA because in their daily task/game a week or 2 they win their weekly budget because they spent their week/s to know each other, unlike houseB they keep on talking non-sense thing and they even think that they are higher than the new ones(mariel and yuri). I really hate people thinking they are superior than the other. I think I'm talking like a fanatic and I had to go now. God Bless!

My favorite is the first season too, because the house mates are so real, so true to themselves and really revealed their true selves.

That's so true except for sam milby. Until now I don't consider him as a member of season one. I think he can be famous without PBB. But we can't deny the fact that his looks help PBB boost viewers participation.lolz!

Yes that is true. But I guess Big brother wants to inculcate in us the value of fidelity because according to the couples involve, the men had played around in the past.

I don't like watching pinoy big brother, i think that show can be manipulated by the producers or whoever manage that show. They are very unfair to the contestants and i think most of the housemates that get to the end are not deserving. Id rather watch survivor philippines cause atleast there the winners deserve to win. Even though my family like to watch the show, i still don't like it. And whats with this new task that they need to pretend to be real husband and wife even if they are not, they are just a homewrecker.

Yes, like you, I begin to see PBB season now as a silly show on Philippine television, it seems the show just poke fun to the couples there, using them for something else. Very poor format. PBB season one tasks were more fun and entertaining since all of the house mates were involved. But PBB now is getting unfair because all the house mates must be punished for their weekly budget, where in fact they had nothing to do with the task because only the three people doing the task (jimson, kath, patrick).

ya i kinda agree to that, when there were just 6 in each house, it is fun, but when new housemates came, its seems that they are crowded, and it really focus on the tasks of those 2 couples, couple who acts as sweethearts and the other couple who act as husband and wife and the real husband is there too... i miss the fun with melissa and the twins kenny and toffe. i like the first batch of housemates the one who came on the first week of pbb...

Yes, we have the same sentiments. It seems the tasks are focused on those couples that the other original house mates acted like they are just props on the show. I do agree with Jason last night when he said he is beginning to feel boredom and asked Big Brother if he could take the place of Rob to wear the shower cap.lol! It was really funny, but Jason has good point, the show is really boring because they are just "props" to the couple who had task.

I watched pbb if i have time because the show was very late and i need to go to bed earlier because i have a duty for the following day..for me, th e show is interesting and challenging because the house was divided in two and also the housemate..the tasks now is difficult i think..I agree also that some housemates looked like they have not much task to do..they are just observing.

We have the same observation, some of the house mates appeared to be just props because they had not given any tasks. Or maybe the latest PBB has different format some kind of experimental and viewers like me was kinda used to the previous PBB installments.

Well I think everybody will be given the chance to showcase themselves in there. They have just started already and from the way the show is running right now there are housemates that really show their talents already despite not being given a task. I started to get interested already as this season the plot somehow got different from other seasons and the persons in there are pretty mixed personality and looks like they are really having some kind of clashes in the personalities that are there. It is pretty interesting that they can mixed well but then conflicts do occur from time to time.

That is why it is pretty interesting to watch right now since there is a total clashes of personalities in there. There are those that are just quite and there are those that are just plainly funny.

Yes, I agree. This latest season of PBB is a huge different than the previous one. The fact that it has two houses revealed a big difference than the past seasons. Some of todays house mates came from totally different background and very strange.

It does seem that way, some people are given much more exposure. I think it's mainly because they are much more interesting so that's why they get featured often. In fairness naman to Big Brother/Kuya, each participant in the house is given his/her own time to bring out/give out the best they can be. Some people just shine more than the others. I have watched a few episodes and reserve judgment until the end. I have been a somewhat not really avid follower of the show and I have seen some tasks to be totally pointless and some tasks that show heart.

My sister knows someone who had been inside the PBB house and he told her that the whole thing is scripted. Even the fights, and etc. Actually, the staff of PBB would give each housemate their respective 'character' and they would have to act it out. I think this would make the show interesting. But why call the show a reality show if it is scripted. Weird.

I agree with you. He focuses on one side rather than focusing in all of the housemates. It is a reality show wherein they only broadcast interesting happenings on the house. The show doesn't give much more attention on all of the housemates. First focus whas the pretending of the couples, then followed by Carol - Hermes love team, then Melai and Jason. But now they are focusing on Melai and Jason for a fact that it gives the audience more contentment and the reason to like the show.
