Have you read Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card?

I like some of his stuff, but this one left me feeling depressed. I read it to preview it before giving it to my grandson. I am not going to give it to him.. It is too dark and cold. what did you think of it? Have you read any of his other books?

I rekon the best thing for everybody to read is the harry potter series. I cant personally recommend it but lots of people do. My fav author is matthew reilly, he might be a bit graphic for young audiences, but god he writes some fantasic action books. Im dying to read his next one.
