Obama the Candidate: I have a plan for fighting the important war in Afghanistan Obama the President: It will take time to develop a plan in Afghanistan. Obama the Candidate: I have a plan for closing the detention facility at Guantanimo Bay! Obama the President: Pentagon, please come up with a plan for closing the detention facility at Guantanimo Bay. Obama the Candidate: I have a plan for reforming health care Obama the President: Congress, write a plan for reforming health care. Obama the Candidate: When I am elected, there will be open discussions of the health care plan on CSPAN Obama the President: There is nothing wrong with Congress holding closed door sessions. Obama the Candidate: When I am elected, non-emergency bills will be posted online for 5 days before I sign them. Obama the President: No one needs to bother reading bills. Obama the Candidate: No lobbyists or special interest groups will have any part of an Obama administration Obama the President: I have signed waivers so that certain people can serve in my administration, even though they are lobbyists. Obama has been in office 10 months and already has proven that Nixon was more trustworthy than he is.

parated, Yep, 10 months have gone, and yep much progress is slow at best. But GWB had 8 years of destructive policies - I believe it may take more than 10 years to reverse the mess Bush left behind. In the meantime there will plenty of warmongers looking for his head.

What on earth does Bush have to do with whether Obama has any integrity or not? He lied and all you can do is sit in your dirty diaper and complain about Bush. I bet you figure it is Obama right to lie to us simply because he's Obama!

That's the point. Apparently accountability is only for Conservatives. Liberals refuse to hold anyone accountable unless they are using as a political weapon.

I understand the Bush hatred to an extent. We see the reverse of it with Obama love. Both are virtually the same: no real basis. Does it ever cross anyone's mind that, in Bush's 8 "disastrous" years, Obama, personally, as well as liberal policies that will be strengthened under his administration, contributed to the mess America is in? Hold a schmuck accountable for being a schmuck. This is what happens when politicians become pop stars.

My goodness, I remember some of those issues. Well, it's easy to say things when you are trying to be elected. It's typical with all politicians.
