Last two weeks ago I have shared to everyone that I lost my job. So I just stay online and make some extra money.Yesterday, I received a phone call from the company that removed me from the job.they told me that I have to come to the office today because I have to take series of exams and interview for a new account. Though I am not sure that I will still be hired,I went there today, I took series of exams and interviews and fortunately I pass all the steps. I am actually scheduled tomorrow for a final interview with the operations manager tomorrow. When I am about to go out the said department, I saw my previous operations manager. She told me that , i don't have to attend the interview tomorrow since she already endorsed me to another account. According to her, my stats are good and I deserve to be endorsed. She added that I do not have to go with the screening and start the job tomorrow at 10am. I almost jump because of two much happiness. This is another blessing to me. I thank God for this. What about you? How is your employment status?

hello rberon, I am happy for you. i knew it was a mistake to have them take you out of the company as you were on their best. but frankly, i think it's kinda annoying if you asked me about me employment status, if i did have a job i wouldn't be here in the first place. good luck and i hope you get promoted again to a higher position. keep it up and don't let go of it

I am so sorry letran, i hope i did not offended you. anyway, i don't think so that you still need an offline job. You already have good online jobs right and i also believe that all your earnings is sufficient enough to cover all your expenses and at the same time with your bills. i 'm really sorry again about the emoployment status, don't you have plans in applying in any companies?

Congratulations rberon!! What a great relief this must be for you! I know many people who are out of work right now and it just wreaks havoc on the family. I have been lucky so far that the store I work at seems to be doing fine. So far there have been no lay-offs or hints of closing. I would be devestated if I lost my job right about now as there are so few openings for work in my area. Good luck tomorrow!

we are all happy for u. congratulations. that is a real good blessing. it is not everyday that we are called again by the same company that removed us. they surely find u a very good asset and they realized that u should be back. always thank Him for everything. about me, i am now 12 years with the present company after availing of an early retirement offer from a previous employment. it is always nice to have something to do and earn.

I am really grateful that they have offered me to comeback to the company, actually there are 100 employees who were out of the company and they were just offered by a separation pay, but with me, they gave me a good opportunity,i have to take good care of this new account. wow! you have been in the company for 12 years??that is such a great achievement. you must be getting a good retirement fee in the company.

First of all, congratulation to you. You are so fortunate that you're jobless only for a short period of time. As you say, they find your stats are good that's why they want to retain you. For me, I am almost three years in my current company as a timesheet administrator/project accountant. I love my job so far and as long they will not retrench me, I will stay with them for long. Hopefully, the recession will soon ends as the news is implying so that the unemployment rate will be reduced.

I appreciate your response. I am glad that I am back at work again. i think i have to do another adjustments, but no problem, i can easily adjust. With regard to recession, here in our country, it continue to happen. we were just recently attack by the two major typhoons. Many people has lost their life and businesses.I think our country will take too much time to pass through the recession period. I also hope that you stay in your job longer than forever.lol

We are on the same boat you know. I am a fellow Filipino and it saddened me a lot to see out country was so devastated by the two typhoons which hit the country. I am just here in Singapore to work but my heart and compassion still stays with my countrymen. Unemployment rate in the Philippines is not only due to the recent recession but because of poor country governance. You know how politicians work in our country. Some of them wants just the position and money but not to improve the life of Filipino citizen. Of course as a Flipino, I still want to stay and grow old in my own country but the situation now is bleak and I do not want to compromise my family's future. Good luck to your job and I must say well done!

Well done! I am so pleased for you that your situation has taken a positive turn! After two years of working for an hotel through an agency they finally put me on their books last June and will be renewing my contract when it expires at the end of the year. I love the job, my colleagues, the hours and find nothing negative about it at all - except that it is not a full time job as I only work 30 hours instead of 40. Better than nothing and when someone is off on holiday or whatever I do get some extra hours but all in all I would not change it for anything else. So we will be seeing less of you now?

I am dependent on myself. i don't have any boss. I am the boss. If i work, i earn. else i starve. i have no one to endorse. no one to screen me, no interviews. i have to earn every day, even if i fail in all tests.

lol so you are self- employed, its good that you are doing that. I also to be like that so that i will also be the boss. however, as of this moment, due to financial constraints, i can't do it. Once I have already received some amount, I will do that as well. I am planning to make my own forum but I believe it will take sometime and take a lot of money. Hope you will be successful in your business.

Wow, it is good to see that one OFW is also mylotting. Why do you plan to go home already here in our country? Are you know longer enjoying the view of saudi arabia? you should be very lucky that you are there. there are million of filipinos to be in other country.but if that's your decision and will make you happy, go ahead, let me just remind you that here in our country, there are less opportunities.

Congrats, So getting laid off wasn't such a bad thing, looks as if it may have been a blessing in disguise, you have moved up to better position. As for my employment position, I am retired and loving every minute of it. I have no boss, no deadlines to meet, and most of all I can do whatever I want. I still do some proofreading but not as much as last year. There is nothing as rewarding as the feeling you get when you are good at what you do and other people take notice of that. Wishing you much success.

Same job, same crap, same thing, here. I don't lose jobs that easily but I do wish they would change once in a while. A new job means a new challenge and also means a new chance of better money. Congrats on your success, mine is failing as usual but, as they say everywhere - what else is new in the world ?

i must first congratulate you on going back to work. this means the economic down turn will have minimal impact on you. so, be hard working and honest to maintain your job and don't work out of mylot so that you can gain extra cash to sustain you. as for me the economy is biting and i can't get a nice job to carter for my basic needs. even on mylot i can't concentrate to meet ends meet. once more i envy you.
