have you ever try to imagine your life in 20 years look life? specially for us chinese, the life in 20 years ago was way too old for the life now, so many changes, almost everything happens now is something i wouldn't ever thought back then except one thing, which is i will get married, haha. but think about 20 more years in the future, i really don't how far can we go as human race, we might flying instead of driving a car, we might live on moon, we might have another high tech like internet... ... use your imaginations, let's share what do you think about our life in 20 years.

Hi seaweed, After 20 years, I'll be age 56 by that time and my son would be 20 years old. I should say, I might have my own house and is running my own business in my hometown by that time. My son already a graduate, having a good job and soon to start his own family. I want to see him successful and happy with his wife and children before I become too old. I want to witness how my son would bring up his own family and of course to enjoy being with my grand children before I die. Good Day!

Hi 25thseaweed, A great discussion with endless possibilities. I am hoping that I will still be around and able to witness those wonderful changes. It is difficult to predict such things of course but I expect that there will be much greater changes then we have seen in the last twenty. I am hoping that we see more people working for world peace, the elimination of hunger and homelessness and a cure for most diseases. It would be good to think that society will start thinking that way instead of the greed that we're seeing everywhere today. Blessings.

I choose to be optimistic. 20 years from now, people would have rediscovered the value of human interaction. The importance of meeting people face to face, shaking their hands and hugging and kissing. Gone will be the days of virtual worlds, where avatars are the face of one's persona. Granted that we will have better means of communication and transportation, each of us will still strive to experience actual events, instead of the old ways of viewing them on youtube.

My cousin emailed me yesterday to tell me that his grandson started school this week. I had to take a deep breath. I do not know where the time has gone. I remember when we both just started school as little children and he is now a grandparent. When I was in my early twenties, we were fighting the war in Vietnam, there were riots in our streets, our leader were being killed. We had progressed from manual typewriters to electric typewriters. Computers were part of imagination. We had large heavy cars. Our country would shut down on Sundays to worship and families would gather in the afternoon to have a nice dinner together. Now some 35 years later, we are running in many directions, families live all over the country and don't have time to get together every week. We take very little time for God. We still have war, but it is in different countries. We still have school and families but so many children now grow up in broken homes. We have progressed in many areas of technology but have become a disconnected society in our homes and family structure. I would hope in the future that there would be marvelous healings for many diseases, our homes would be more efficient, and that poverty worldwide would be a thing of the past. Our future will probably be way beyond what we could really imagine today. I do hope that the future does involve our food supply being cleaner and healthier, peace, and family life being more balanced and happy. It is good to always look to the future. I think the possibilities are boundless and exciting.

Yes, I kinda thought of that sometimes. I`m also quite curious what its like to 20 years from now and I`m also wondering if I`d still live till that day. Anyways, whatever will be will be!

hi there, Twenty years from now, the morality of the people will decline. people will become more self centered. Another thing, the weather will become more unstable. Earth will be more prone to calamities.
