I was on vacation last week and of course, a major splurge was in order. This time around, I bought the whole set of the 3-in-1 Adventures of Tintin. I've been looking for it for a while now, and it wasn't available in our local bookstores. So, when I came upon them at a bookstore, I decided then and there that I would get them, at least before I went home. I did a bit of price checking, and proceeded to purchase the whole series. I spent Php5,355.00, but since the huge amount qualified for a bookstore membership, I got the books at 10% off. I felt so happy, but then a huge pang of guilt took over LOL! I was panicking about my next credit card bill, but then I realized I bought the books in cash, thus the 10% discount. What a relief!
What have you splurged on lately?

My latest splurge is a pair of Charles and Keith sandals. It has been a long, long time since I bought myself a pair of sandals with heels. I've been trying to avoid buying a pair of heels because my feet tend to hurt when they're made with low quality (in terms of anatomy technologies and such that Nike employs in most of its sport shoes).
Lately, however, I've been feeling better due to intensive exercises: Body Combat and Body Balance. So that's why I decided to buy my new pair of 2.5 inch heeled sandals after four years!

Oooh charles and keith... i love them! I splurged on a pair myself some time ago, it was on sale though, so it wasn't necessarily a hugea$$ splurge LOL! I did see a pair i really like on charles and keith before i found the books, but I held off and spent my money on the books as well. AND, I just had a major online shopping spree that cost me more than the books, so that's my new latest splurge haha.

My latest splurge was that I bought a branded wallet and a bag that cost half of my monthly salary :) Though this really makes me feel so good and make myself promise that I will use it for the longest time as much as possible and will buy another set after two years :)

congratulations on your purchases! sometimes, it's better to buy branded and good quality stuff that last a long time than the cheap ones that break in like a month. good choice for you!
