My husband and I have wanted a digital camera for awhile now. I've found a site where I can search, earn points and get a digital camera. I am really excited about this, though I know it will take me awhile. I'm searching often but not often enough as allowed per the guidelines of the site. I'm excited though as I've wanted a digital camera for awhile. I've had one in the past, but lost it, it was a cheapo one anyway, so it didn't really bother me to lose it. Anyone else have a digital camera, and were excited to get one? How often do you use your digital camera? If any of my friends want to help, I can't guarantee the site works and I WON'T DO REFERRAL EXCHANGE!

You know that I am really excited about us getting a camera so I'm working hard on this site and hoping I can get a hold of my aunt to help me to get to the goal faster! I know we'll use it for special occasions and just when we want to take pictures! Everyone seems to have a digital camera these days!

Yeah hopefully you will get a hold of your aunt so she can help you reach the goal even faster since the more people who do it,the more likely you are to be able to get the digital camera sooner, and it does seem like everyone has a digital camera these days and they are definitely better then the outdated film cameras that cost too much to get their film developed, when you use a digital camera you can just upload them on your computer and print your own photos,so that will be really nice,I love you with all my heart and soul, have a great day, good luck with all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting Baby.

Well we stopped working on the site, but we'll eventually get a digital camera, maybe we can save for it or something, we will just have to see when we can start saving for the camera.

I love my digital camera. I use it all the time. I got a memory card and it holds 2000 pictures and 80 minutes of video! It takes great pictures and is super user friendly. I got mine off ebay.

It's a Kodak easyshare. I like it because everytime you change the setting it comes up on the screen what kind of pictures it is for. I only paid $60 on ebay and it was new. I love it. I bought my daughter a Poloroid digital camera on there for $25 brand new but we had to download the intructions off the net. You should really check it out. If you find one you like..look it up at your local store and makes sure your going to be saving money by buying it on there.

hello SomeCowgirl, i do hope that the site is legal and that you can get your digicam. just be careful though. yes indeed, i have a digicam and i use it only when there is an special occassion like graduation, intrams, school activities, birthday, and the likes. have also lost one including my videocam. i left it in a taxi cab and never recovered. the other videocam that i have is not working anymore. what i am using now, i let my brother-in-law bought it abroad for it's much cheaper there. now, i am so extra careful about it.

Intrams is short for school intramurals. Hopefully you can get your digital camera soon. Our digital camera I usually left it at home. The one I am using everyday is the digital camera on my cellphone. It has 2Megapixel and it's good for taking picture everyday. It also has video camera. It's a nice little camera, you might want to consider.

We now have a cameraphone but still no digital camera yet, I guess it's not too high on our priority list as of yet.

what are intrams? I'm sorry you lost your other camera though. I lost mine or threw it away, it was cheap... and had no pictures on it so I didn't worry about it BUT this one we hope to get, or any other one, never throw it away, lol!

I had one that I bought in 2002 and it was OK for a cheap one, but it became a paing to use once I broke the battery door and had to tape it down. A couple of years ago somebody gave my husband a Best Buy gift certificate and he gave it to me and I bought a nicer camera with it. Sometimes I even let him touch it. :-) I use it pretty often. I loves my camera!

It was some kind of a work award, $300, and I did end up having to spend a small amount of my own money to finish paying for it.

Hi Amber, I'm truly truly useless at technology and hadn't used mine until I wanted to put the avatar up. I duly found all the connection leads and plugged it into charge for the afternoon then took it out knowing someone would know how to reset the date before I could actually use it. My friend could not reset the date as the battery wasn't charged as I'd done it wrong. I'll continue the saga later if you like....

No please do go on... I know that it seems you have to reset the date before using digital cameras....

So then I asked someone how one should actually recharge the camera and it only needs plugging into the wall and not the computer as well apparently and you have to turn it on at the same time which I'd forgotten. But for some reason I'd then tided all those extra wires away somewhere and promptly forgot where, but I really didn't think I'd taken them upstairs into the living room but I still searched all the drawers just in case, and then I asked my son to search too but we couldn't find them, even though one half was clearly identifable as the camera wire. There is a point to this somewhere but it's late and I need to sleep but if you want I can fill you in on the rest of these complexities tomorrow, and I know you've left responses too which I will get back to them tomorrow dear Amber.

Hi SomeCowgirl, We have a digital camera which is really a good one, as of now we don't need a camera. We very often use camera and capture beautiful moments of my children and family. We always take the camera where ever we go out with the family.

Hi I am sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. I'm not even sure if your still on this site or if you are you may be using a different username. In any case, We still have not gotten our digital camera but I do want one to capture beautiful images of nature and pictures of myself and my husband and shots of the family. It would be great for memory sake and pictures they say are worth 1000 words. Well have a wonderful day!

Hi Some Cowgirl Its great that you responded to the discussion. Nothing to worry if you have not taken the shots of the family because you will get many more such moments in your life and then by the time you can purchase a new digital camera to take the pictures of the wonderful moments of your family. Have a nice day.

I have a Nikon Coolpix digital camera and I love it. I probably take a couple pictures with it each week. I love how easy it is to upload them onto my laptop and post them to my favorite social networking sites. I also email them to people. The only thing I miss about film cameras versus my digital is that I rarely get prints from my digital camera. In fact, I have yet to have any of my digital pics made into a print. There are a few I would like to have turned into prints but, I haven't gotten around to it just yet. Anyway, I think you will love your digital camera when you get your new one. I tend to take more pictures with my digital camera than I ever did with my film cameras. Perhaps it is because it is less expensive, you get to see the pictures you take immediately on the screen, and you don't have to load, unload and reload film every so many pictures.

I think you've said it right there, it's easy, plus the added bonus of seeing the pictures right there on the screen! I really love that feature! We went to wal*mart and saw some digital cameras that weren't that bad in price, though we'll probably try to win this one first...

I love the fact that we can download directly to the PC. We actually still don't have one, I guess it's not too high on our priority list but we do plan to get one sometime, and maybe we can get it soon, or atleast I hope so. Thanks so much for responding.

I do have a digital camera which I got for free from a credit card company. But of course, there are conditions. You need not close your credit card for 3-4 years, I think for if you do, you will have to pay for the whole amount of the camera. The one that I got was just a simple camera. It does have a video but the audio is disabled. I still do want to have another one, one that is better equipped with audio feature of the video cam. But unfortunately, at this points, I could still not yet afford to do so. When I have the means, it would be the first thing that I will buy since I have developed fascination for taking pictures.

With mylot you could save up the money for a camera if you wish. I am sure there must be a way to get the audio back enabled again, but I wouldn't know how to do so. You could always look for the owner's manual, they have things such as that online as well, I believe.

Yes, I do have a digital camera. I have one of those old fashioned ones with no screen on the back to see the object you are taking a picture of. But it still has a memory and I can take 50 pictures with it and upload onto my computer. I will try to save money to buy a more current digital camera.

Yea I would really like the more current digital camera those are nice. I guess hubby and I need to save up for it though as we haven't yet bought it. I've lost my job so we'll have to wait until our bills are paid and maybe after the payout for April's earnings on mylot. I plan to try to make a lot this month, so maybe we can afford a camera if I make my goal. Hope you've gotten your more current one or are well on your way to getting it. Thanks so much for responding and have a wonderful day!

We still have not gotten our digital camera though I really want to get one, maybe before our beach trip this year. I've been laid off of work though so we will have to save for it, but maybe if I can make a lot of money here we can buy one, will just have to ask my husband. Unless I use some of my amazon gift cards that I am trying to earn and then it wouldn't be as much so we wouldn't be paying so much out of pocket. Especially if I could also find a coupon code to use at amazon then it would be cheaper. I'm not quite sure which brand of camera I will want to get though so that is one thing we will have to consider before purchasing it.

We recently had one, it's not that trendy and beautiful though because my father brought it. He's not into the specifications and the mere fact that it was a digital camera was enough for him to buy the thing. I was excited about having to use this digital camera but until now I couldn't find suitable projects to shoot. I'm not a photographer but I'm in to capturing beautiful moments and nature

I'm not even sure of the features of the camera I'm trying to get through so many points, but I'm sure it will be a good camera, and when it comes to understanding it we'll most likely sit down and look at all the features. Good luck on learning everything about your camera.

I actually decided to no longer try for that camera, I will just wait until hubby and I have enough money to buy a camera. I'd love to get one as it'd be fun to go out and take pictures etc, plus it would be a lot easier then having to get them developed. Sometimes when we go out places we give copies to family who wanted to see where we went, this way it's easier!

I have a digital camera (I'm actually on my second one). I got my first one in 2003 or so. I was very excited to get it. I especially loved the fact that I didn't have to deal with film anymore. I used it fairly often too, taking pictures of just about everything I could. However, with my current one I don't use it as much. As this one uses the same size batteries as most of my husband's hobby stuff he used to always take the batteries for himself. I've since bought extra batteries just to make sure I can have a pair for myself, but I guess I've gotten used to not being able to use my camera over the years because now I hardly use it at all. Kind of sad when I think about it as I loved taking pictures before. Hmm, maybe I'll eventually get back into it, who knows? Happy mylotting! PS So, did this site ever come through for you? Were you able to get a digital camera this way? Or are you still working on it?

I have a digital camera and I love it. I take tons of photos with it. I'm trying to get into photography. Possibly starting up my own freelance business. I just recently got a nikon P80 from my boyfriend as a gift. I would have to say its one of the nicest camera I've ever used. I also have a nikon coolpix. Thats my point and shoot camera. I take that one with me if I'm not really worried about losing it or breaking it. Its worth the money though. For being a less expensive camera it can take pretty good photos.
