I have been searching for months to find an old recipe my mother had given me and have not been able to find it. The recipe was similar to a sugar cookie but had ground nuts in it and you formed the cookies into the shape of a pretzel. Does anyone else know of this recipe or where I may find it?

Cooks.com has several different recipes for Prezel cookies, hopefully one of them is the one you are looking for. Here is the direct page for the pretzel cookies.

I'll save you a little time the first one has almond extract but no nuts.
Good luck to you I hope you find it.
