Single trip or Multiple Trips?

When I travel to a city I try to sight see everything there is to in that one trip. I mean there are so many different places to see, so why waste time and money in visiting the same city again right?
There are some people though who prefer to visit the same cities again and so take their time in taking in all the sights.
What kind of a person are you? Someone who takes in the entire city at one time or prefers multiple visits?

I usually like to see all the sights of a city and just visit it one time in my lifetime. The reason for that is that there are so very many destinations on my travel wish list. I do have some favorite cities that I have enjoyed a few trips to. My city that I love most of all is Sydney and it is far from my home land. I have visited it twice. I have more chance of visiting Lisbon again because it is close to home. Usually on a trip I visit around five different places like a city, a town, a beach, the countryside and a village.

The world is getting smaller, air fares are not as expensive as it used to be. As long as you stay out of the busy time, you can get to most places in the world at reasonable cost.

Well I have been to three places multiple times one is Columbus, OH because I used to live there and have family there. The other is San Antonio, TX because my sister lives there. We like to go there to visit in the winter to get away from the cold. I have also been to Las Vegas multiple times because we just love it there. There is so much to see and do there, I think I have been there 5 times but still have not looked through all the different hotels. Plus they are constantly changing and adding things there.
Even if we do visit any of the cities above in a given year we will usually still go some place different as well. Las Vegas is usually more of a long weekend than a vacation. I do enjoy going to different places every time we go some where. I have been to Orlando a couple of times, but the visits were many years apart from one another.
I like to try new things, but some places are just so nice I don't mind going back.

I usually plan my visits properly and try to visit all places in a city in a single trip. Sometimes it is not possible to cover everything in a single trip, just because there are so many places to visit. In such cases, I do make multiple trips to the same place.
I usually plan the trip in such a way that within 75% of the planned trip time I can cover all places. That gives me around 25% of time to look for some of the places that locals might recommend and I might have missed out on. That usually makes things more interesting.
Cheers!

hey that sounds smart. Ill try doing that coz i usually land up just visiting the sights to see and never really enjoy the local things.

Hello. I prefer traveling to places I haven't been to before, so I get to know and learn about the places , the cultures ,and the traditional values. Ofcpurse, I do get to places I have been to already. Those are when I have to be traveling on my business trips. Thos places I have to travel repeatedly. But, again, there is always something new to see and learn !
