Hey! That's awesome! I can't say I've gotten anything for free lately, unfortunately, except for a car wash (it rained yesterday). Ha-ha-ha. I need to find some conferences like this! . It sounds like a pretty sweet deal.

Just dont get suckered into paying money for anything. My roommate and I did this once, and while I just went for the free food and the electronic organizer they were giving away, she got suckered into paying another $25 to go to ANOTHER seminar where they asked her to come up with a paltry $1400 to start her own home based business... and she actually started saving. If you think getting rich quick is possible, avoid these seminars.

How cool! I haven't gotten anything for free lately, but there was one time some years ago that my husband and I got something for free. We had gone into Sears (or was it Montgomery Ward?) on day and they were having some sort of promotional thing going on. One of the employees there handed us a fake egg. We proceeded to open it up and it was for a free poster size picture at their studio. My husband didn't want to do it, but I convinced him otherwise. So we got our photo taken at their studio. And it only cost us $10! Yep, they got us on the sitting fee so it wasn't really free after all! LOL Happy mylotting!

thats cool!! i get some things like that sometimes but it ends up only offering a meal adn a digital calandar that looks like a crappy free gift from an mail order catalog that you would never buy and figure the time isnt worth it.. if they had better stuff i would or if they wouldnt take so long i would go for the free meal lol.. they always pick the nights i cant go too.. grr

Hey! It sounds nice. Congrates, win more and more and make us feel happy. i never got anything for free. but once in a while, we will receive a call asking us to collect 1 kg of silver or 1kg of gold which we won in their organisation in a lucky dip. But we won't believe all those things and we are sure there is a catch behind it. So we ignore such calls.

you are so luckyi do not know exactly about focus group or such conferences,and i never get some free gift from such programs because i don't think one will get something free without effort.but anyway,congratulations on you gift. Have a great day!

Very small thing I got as free. But free is free is it not? My daughter bought cookies for me and my husband in a shopping mall for Rs.360/-, almost 8 dollars. They said if we buy for Rs.500/-, they will give one big glass bowl free. I said, anyway we bought for almost 2/3rd of the amount. If we buy for another Rs.140/-, we will get a big glass bowl. So why not buy it? But my daughter said what will you do with that bowl mummy? I did not want to loose the chance and I bought for another Rs.140/- and got the bowl. Of course my daughter only paid that amount and never allowed me to pay.

hey i got one of those in the mail too! my hubby and i went to a seminar like that a couple of years ago and all they want you to do is to spend big bucks on something that MIGHT bring you in a lot of money. i get free stuff from websites and from being a buzz agent sometimes.

How awesome! We've been to those dinners before! My mom invited us to one that was to show us fire safety equipment. We got a free dinner, a kitchen fire extenguisher, and 40% of a new smoke detector that would run even when it was melted! Ours in the house was going out and we were going to have to purchase a new one anyway...so we definately took the 40% off!

i got a bike stationary converter free. it's a frame you can hook your bicycle up to to exercise at home. somebody was getting rid of a barely used one,and i looked it up on the maker's website and it was worth at least $200.

Free stuff can be really good. I periodically get some good stuff for free.

Nothing as cool as that. I have just gotten samples in the mail, body wash, shampoo laundry soap those sorts of things. I hope you enjoy your time LOL
