Are you more a responder? Or a discussions starter? Or maybe you're a tasker (I know it's not gramatically correct, but okay, you know what I mean lol) who only here to hunt for those highpaying task? Which one do you consider yourself to be? As for me, I'm more a responder. I find joys in expressing my opinions. I have to admit that I'm lack of ideas on how to create good discussions. Oh, those tasks are also too difficult for me lol. How about you?

Hi alwayzzcitra
I'm a responder! I don't have much time here, so better I don't make discussion because if I make one, I will need to comment on all the responses I've got. That's a form of courtesy and I'm afraid I can't do that. So better to responds to discussions for me. Sometimes I start a discussion too, but not too often. For task, I regularly check them and do sign up task. I have tried the writing task 3 times and it was all rejected. Maybe because English is not my mother language and my ability in expressing my thoughts or words in perfect English article still not really good. And some tasks are from US or other country beside mine
So yeah, a responder! Now you start a discussion and seems like this one going well =)

@Citra : Of course English is not our first language, since we come from the same country! May I know in which city do you live?
I like Chrysant flower too, its shape! Also love chrysanthemum tea, you can find this kind of tea in carefour,,hehehe..
@zed_ka : Same with me. I prefer to respond too.. But I have tried, being a discussion starter can earn us more if we get many response. But still, I don't have much time here so I just afraid I can't commenting on all the responses. Yeah, if we need some advice or what, start a discussion is the best Seems like we have something in common about starting discussion :)

Hello chrysantflower! Wow, that's actually my favorite flower, I used to plant many of them. Well, English isn't my native language either, so I find many difficulties to write a perfect article for the tasks. As for the sign up tasks, I'm not interested in them.

I am more of a responder. I don't really like starting topics because it is so hard to keep track of all the responses and it is just rude to not respond to someone who has responded to one of your topics. I have not really loked at the tasks but they also look alttle confusing.

It's true, I do find the task are so confusing. For instance, I saw ones that require you to install some softwares. What if it contains virus, or what should I do next with those softwares? It gives me headache lol

I am more of a responder. I have trouble coming up with things that I think will trigger a conversation. I do not do the tasks either. I do good to get on here and go through discussions and respond.

I agree with your opinion. I've been here for about a month and until now I don't have the skill to start an interesting discussion. I think somebody just have that talent in turning simple topics into something that interesting to discuss. I admire them!

I'm more of a responder. If something comes to mind I'll start a discussion about it but I don't normally sit around thinking of things to discuss. I'd rather come here and participate in the discussions that are already on the board. I don't mind sharing my opinions or my experiences.

I agree with both of you! It's nice to get paid while we are having fun here, isn't it? I love sharing opinions and learn experience from others which really help to broaden my horizon. That's one of the reasons I am here.

I have the same problem! Finding an idea for an interesting discussion is a hard work for me. Responding is a lot easier. But of course everyone is different.

I am active here to post and respond discussions. Sometimes I will also finish some tasks. But mainly I am a responder because it is not easy for me to think out a good new discussion. And most tasks are difficult for me to do. So I like to respond to discussions much more.
I love China

Starting an interesting discussion is indeed more difficult. I only do it once in a while, because I'm lack of ideas. Responding offers more fun.

I only start discussions when I feel like it. I used to be quite active in starting, but nowadays, I prefer to have a sit back and enjoy the different discussions started by senior members as well as new ones. I enjoy varieties and I gain lots of knowledge and give advices too in the process. It's a fun journey so far for me in the lot and I hope will continue to be so.

i am more of a responder than a starter. most of the time if i have a new idea to share, i start one. but really, the most thing to do here is too response. even if you start a discussion, you still have to be a responder to all the responses you will receive.

i might say that i am more a discussion starter than a responder. i have joined mylot about 8-9 months ago, but as you see i only responded less than 250 responses. however, i have a few discussions that have over 100 respondents & i replied to all of them one by one.
i am not going to brag about the highest responses i received at the moment is 177 (oops, i did brag! LOL!), but i am just comparing to you that i am more a discussion starter than a responder. :P
yes, i am a tasker too, but that depends if there is any task that interests me.:)

thank you so much for the compliments.
i think i know why i am the first person in this discussion who is a discussion starter. want to know why? because other discussion starters are busy starting new discussions & neglected to reply a great discussion you have here. LOL!

I am definitely a responder! I used to created discussions, but now I'm all out of ideas. lol. I like commenting on good discussions, or those that you really cannot pass up because you want your opinion to be heard. hehehe. I used to do tasks, but I stopped when I got rejected three times. lol.
It's a lesson well learned, and I've got a bruised ego to prove it. hahaha.

I think I am both, responder and discussion starter. I actually enjoy both. When my imagination is running wild, I post almost 20 discussions some days. Not everyday day though. And while I am thinking of what topic to post, I find it interesting to respond to discussions first. The problem of posting too many discussions is devoting time to make comments to each response. I'm still working on this. Definitely I read every response and schedule a day where I do nothing but write comments.
With regards to the tasks, I hope I'll get into that too.
enjoy!

Great idea! I never thought about that before. Many members say they find difficulties keeping track with their discussions to comment the responses. Scheduling a day to comment them does help a lot, I believe.

I respond more I guess. I have tried to make a few discussions but getting so few responses is discouraging, not thinking of earnings here but it seems to point out that my ideas for discussions are not really interesting so I gave up and tried to make do with what I am good at, here responding to your discussion.

Getting only a few responses doesn't mean your discussions aren't interesting. There are many topics available here, so sometimes your discussions may become less visible. Still, I agree with you, responding is easier lol. Cheers!

I'm more of a responder, like most people on here. I can always find something to respond to, but I can't always think of a really good discussion topic. I may go a week or more without starting a discussion, then I'll have 3 or 4 ideas in one day, so my discussion starting is unpredictable.
All I would say to you is to make sure that whether you are responding or starting a discussion, you think about it carefully and make a quality post. That way, you'll build up a circle of friends and followers and you'll really enhance your Mylot experience.

Wow! Another great tip! Building a circle of friends is something I want to do so bad. I'm with you, I believe that good quality is a must otherwise the other members wouldn't even care to read your posts. Bravo to you!

If you like writing articles and doing research, you can try Sharon Bucks tasks. They pay really well if you get approved, averagely $4 each. Happy task hunting then!

I'm not so good to create discussions, and I don't like so much to do tasks 'cause they require registration on other sites, and I don't want to sign up on these sites...or they are too difficult, like SharonBucks's tasks, you have to write 6 paragraphs of a certain topic in a certain and complicated way ):
...If only I'm good in english t___t ....
So...
I prefer to post response on interesting discussions. Yeah :)
