whats your pc specs and what can it handle?
run dxdiag to find out more about ur system.
OS: Win 7 64bit
HDD: 1x IDE 250gb, 2x Sata 80gb, 500gb, USB 1Tb

CPU: Intel Q6700 quad core 2.66ghz

This machine can transfer between hard drives at about an average of 40mb/s and about 30mb/s over the network. It can play crisis and most games on full graphics at around 60fps. The new wolfenstein runs great on it at near top graphics. Im also going good with unreal tornament 3.

Wow thats an awesome machine. What would you recommend a good way for me to overclock like you have? Particulary the ram, as i have 2 gb DDR3 ram, not sure on the mhz tho, any software avaliable to check this?

To ensure the best overclocking, you need to have a good mobo, processor, cpu cooler & a good ram. If you can afford it, try getting yourself a liquid cooling solution for your cpu cooler. In terms of good ram, look for ram designed for overclocking (they usually comes with heatspreader). You can check the speed of your ram using a free software called cpu-z. Point your browser at www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php. After overclocking be sure to stress test your system for at least 12 hour. This is to ensure that your system is stable with heavy loads so you won't run into problems such as system crashes especially when you're doing your work. I stress test my system using OCCT. Pump OCCT in your favourite search engine to download it for free.
